I was the OP of that reddit post. Turns out, that guy didn’t even do a background check, and instead just pulled all of that info out of their ass because they knew DUDE liked ranked more than turf and was, previously, in a comp team..
I can see how someone might get the impression that Dude is a competitive elitist, but it's definitely a bit extreme to say he just doesn't care about casuals. Most of this viewer base is casuals.

I knew that your sticks purification initiative had been received poorly by some angry sticks redditors (who are tired of being told they could play better with motion). But "Dude hates casuals" I never heard. The one reason this worked so well is that this guy was pretty much the only one not knowing who you are in the community. Keep being inspiring! (and take the time to rest, I know way too well the feeling you discussed on twitch and it's always tough to get out).
Sniper Weekend and all this is now a canon event that happened in the Splatoon lore and no one can tell me otherwise. One weekend in Inkopolis most of the Inklings got together and all used chargers in battles and it was a whole thing. This is canon.

Hey man I've seen many snipers these days, I think it was a success. I wish you 'be yourself" soon. if you like some advice just try playing a non competitive cool game to relax and just have fun. I believe that you are overloaded somehow with splatoon, that at least happened with me and I was loosing X and that's what I did.... I returned better after finishing browsers fury.
