How are you getting such a clean sweep with 0 attenuation to your input when you hook the tracking generator in for the normalize function? At -10db attenuation, I get a clean sweep, but at 0db I get a sweet with -55db spikes and it will not normalize?

It is a great video it is about time some one made one for the flat pack duplexers.
I see you upgraded to a very good TG I have one like it and love it.
Waiting to see your new video.

I am setting up a gmrs repeater.my upper is 467.7000 and my low is 462.7000.
Now the duplexer has a sticker low is 462.000 and high is 467.000...
Do I tune the duplexer for repeater or sticker

Thanks for the video! Did you ever get the video on how to tune the VHF cans? I looked through your videos and couldn't find it. I am interested to see how you did it.

Excellent tutorial with the DSA815!! Thank you! Would be awesome to see one on how to properly measure harmonic energy of TX out.

Great video! Im currently waiting for my very own 815-TG to arrive and trying to study some tuning methods. I would like to see the follow up on that pack of band pass cavitys. Thanks / A curious Swede.

Thank you so much for the video, may I ask one question?? How do you get your Start, and Stop Frequency? I understand the Center Frequency, but not the Start and Stop Frequency...
    Thank you

Just a quick question, Why is it that you would use a terminator as a dummy load on the side that you are not working with. We don't do that when we tune our UHF and VHF duplexers here at work, so I was wondering what the difference is or if its better to adopt that practice? We are just learning to do it here and any advice is greatly appreciated.

it changes the characteristics a little bit, I never used to either and you can get away with out a dummy load however when the filter is in circuit it does indeed have a load connected, so you will get more accurate results by placing a DL whilst tuning

at the end of this video you mentioned you were going to make another video tuning those larger cans for 150 Mhz, but I can't find that video. Did you ever make that video? By the way, thank you for making this video. I refer to it frequently to remind myself how to set up my own 815-TG for duplexers.

Can you explain where you started the screw adjustments to achieve the three-notch waveform? One missing element to the video is helping us to determine where to start tuning. I’m unable to get the three-peak starting point you show. Start with all screws in? All the way out? Thank you for the great video!!

Can these mobile duplexers be used for a standard 2 meter ham band offset?

Nope, well, you probably could, but I wouldn't do it.
