Briggsy have you fished on LHI. Rock platforms are razor sharp and sketchy. Some epic surface fishing for kings and tuna of the stones and plenty of silver trevs to 10kg give you a work out.
I'd love to spin there one day mate, had my eye on it forever just gotta make it happen!
@@Briggsy I had to get a job on the island to afford it. Bloody expensive place but worth every cent. Been back a couple of times and never fails to impress. Last trip PB was a 27.5kg king of a bombie at Balls pyramid on the surface and a fin about 20kg the next cast. Save ya coin and get out there.

Hi Clyde, haha the footage is flipped to respect the local fishos. It's a really special place and almost no one spins off the rocks there. So for the few who do, to protect their ledges we've flipped the footage and not shown the walk ins (so only people who have been there will know how to find the spots) basically we've done everything we can to make sure visitors go about it the right way when fishing Norfolk (locals want us to use one of the landbased charters or go with local friends who know the Island and cliffs). The walks down are wild and you need permission to fish some areas because you're effectively standing on peoples land down there. The last thing locals would want is 1000s of Cavy and Briggsy fans rocking up screaming PSYCHO as they fall off the cliff casting lures in all directions mid flight hahaha So yeah big lefty for the next 5 or 6 films!

We call Yellowtails that size rats. I’ve caught YT much smaller... small enough to hide behind the Sardines in the bait tank! They were caught on ‘dines bigger than they were off of kelp paddies. Unfortunately, people keep those rats :(.

Hey Briggsy 🤙🏽 what size rod are you using? I just bought saragosa 10000pg trying to get used to it on a 13.9” rod. The rod is skitzy sensitive but solid 15-20kg. Can’t wait to hook up 👌🏽

Hi Mate, we spun a bunch of different zones all depending on the weather, the walk ins are pretty skitz and you def want to go with either local mates or a guide!

Hi Mate, I use Dunlop Volleys. You can get them from bigW and they’re ok but the best ones you order from online, they cost a little more, have a crossed hammer 🔨 symbol on the back of them (think their made for roofing work) and they have very soft rubber on the bottom 👍 pretty sure they’re called ‘work’ volleys
