I wonder what was the real purpose of the warden. May be they behave like iron golem and are friendly towards any passive mob including the player. But due to the fact they're blind, they dont know which one is harmless and friendly and which one is harmful and hostile

The entire Sculk biome is a collective organism, it can be giant, just like some real life fungus. The Warden, as its name suggests, is like a guardian to the Sculk, its defense mechanism, like our immune system. So no, it can't be friendly towards anything but another Warden, cause its only purpose is to protect and expand the Sculk by killing anything, the blindness is because the sight is useless in the deep dark.

In bedrock the iron golem lifts mobs into the air (except wither and ender Dragon) I tested and it works with warden and every time warden gets lifted in the air and sometimes the iron golem doesn't even get hit! So in bedrock it takes 1 iron golem to beat a warden
he can also beat him in open ground when wither is flying hell hit him with sonic boom till hes flying low enough for him to punch him to death with like 50 hp left tho

Warden actually doesn't need to be balanced against the other mobs, because he's doesn't supposed to be fighting mob or something like that, Warden isn't a boss, he's someone that appears only for player, and player should just avoid him, like some horror game

I just think like for example these bigger mobs like the Ravager, Iron Golem, Wither should be buffed to a similar stature to the Warden. Because if you look at power scaling the way that iron Golems take out zombies is the way Warden takes out Iron golems. I tested 6 Iron golems against one Warden in Bedrock Edition. Warden wins with lots of health left.
Unless you pitched them up against the Warden one at a time, the Iron Golem would actually win but only with one or two golems left.
one wither in hard can also beat warden
try getting an iron golem to die and repair it with an iron ingot and lets see how long would it took to kill 10 wardens
