I loved that they brought him back, but it was so pointless. Being a Baratheon made him a character with so much potential, and they just used him so that Arya wouldn't be a virgin anymore. What a waste.
I totally agree with you. I don't think that Arya can be the lady - it's all about her haracter, BUT I definetly think that he is on this boat going to the "West landing". It is not a choice for him - Araya or to be a lord... it is obviously Arya. It always been and especcially after 8 season. and they will be together forever, they will have babies and everuthing. Sorry for my English. By the way if you know really good fanfic please say where I can find it. In my langusge I already read them all
Personally me it was a beautiful ending but as aarya was on the ship I turned to my friend and said 'they're gonna pan and genry is gonna be looking at her all lovey dovey... hes there. I promise' but they didnt. But like, I keep saying... we didnt NOT see him there (give me hope Godamn it🤣) , so... i reckon he was just down below deck recovery from a night with aarya. That's the real truth 🤣
I’m speechless. I really have no words and I couldn’t avoid crying because, as I’ve been saying countless times, they were THE ONLY GOOD THING about this season, the only plot that was worth it. And they just destroyed it. I usually say that I kind of like unhappy dramatic endings, but in those cases tragic means death and goodbye, pain and memories, instead of indifference and opposite paths. And that’s what we’ve been given. If you ever read the books, you’ll realize their relationship is even stronger and more beautiful, so whatever is gonna be the ending of the books, even if it is quite similar, I’m sure it will be better than this, it will make sense, Arya will come back, Gendry will be in that ship or at least they will say goodbye. Your video has touched me so deeply. Thank you. Just that. The song makes me feel tremendously emotional. I love them so much and I don’t f*cking care about the wrong idea D&D had about their characters. They belong together and here ❤️ they are.

Also i don't see any indifference they just were in the council and they couldn't talk there lol also gedry looks ar her (with heart eyes imo) when arya threatens yara. In my mind when Arya comes back they will continue also they both need to grow more they are so young. Gendry has a responsability now and Arya needs time for herself and for what she wants NOW
SCS I see your point and you’re partly right. But what makes me mad is the fact that GoT is over and their story is UNFINISHED, then technically it will remain so. All we have now is our imagination and our own interpretation, but nothing else. And it hurts. I agree that they’re still too young and inexperienced to actually make a choice as big and important as that, but they didn’t even need to marry. Moreover, it makes no sense that Arya leaves Westeros and her family when all those years she was completely alone trying to find them all. Sandor’s advice was quite significant and, personally speaking, I truly believe that every and each warrior needs someone to love. It’s a pity that Stark family remains alone and separate after all they went through.

Dany gets pissed since she had that smug look when she gave him the title, & it woulda helped with her Mad Queen. Sansa & Jon learn of Arya & Gendry only 2 people knew about them & they died (Beric & the Hound). Arya realizes she can be a fighter & have someone to love. Gendry realizing she loved him as a bastard before. Ending it with him saying 'I've never had a family' Arya in tears (humanity shows but no answer) cut to knew scene & @ the very end when she's on the ship camera focused on her, 'As you wish' with Gendrys voice woulda been better.
Beautiful video, amazing song choice. I am a bit bitter about how they ended it with Arya and Gendry, they bring him back purely for Arya, with the flirting etc, and build it up to make us think they would be together just for Arya to turn him down ( i get that) making the audience think that Gendry had a part to play in her choosing life before revenge. But after 8.04 they literally have no scenes together and then the final episode they're like 3 feet apart and we get absolutely nothing? not even a goodbye? if knew they were basically using him i wish they had brought him back but focused more on his friendship with Jon, Arya and had more interactions with Ser Davos learning from him. We're now left with Arya off doing her own thing alone and Gendry by himself with a title he never cared about? Okay then.. 😔

Wait what?! 🤨 I don't watch got religiously and even I know that this is a bullshit right there. It can't be that it's the last scene where she turned down his proposal. This is nuts!!!! They really need to reshoot this mess. Even the actors are mad about it!!!
A lot of missed potential there. I am really happy for Gendry and his ending makes sense. Arya's ending was kind of a let down though. I would have rather had Gendry not propose and at the very end Arya decide she wants to go to stormsend to council or something. They could have grown their relationship. Or even if they had gone their separate ways at least there would be some sort of hope for a future. Instead they just made Gendry look like a fool all so Arya could say "that's not me" 🤦♀️ poorly executed just like every other aspect of the season

It´s as if they didn´t know what to do with a female character that was strong from the start, so they diverted the audience with sex, only to have her be strong again in the end, without any real consequnces of what had happened in between. With Brienne they did a slightly better job, but bringing back Gendry only to use him so that Arya could sleep with him was absolutely pointless.
I'm sad disappointed and heartbroken I guess I was asking too much but I will fantasize about them being together and my gendry and arya love story lives on forever in my mind I am not accepting her ending and refuse to give up on them my hopeless romantic will not let me I feel so let down right now I need a hug and a stiff drink once again I have a bad taste in my mouth arya and gendry don't get together I just say it's not over he's in the boat
I love this pair so much like ever since he helped her at the beginning but the sex scene was too much. After watching Ep4,5,6, I figured that all those sex scene probably just for D&D to make those episode longer because they don't know what to write.
