Thank you for sharing my story. I thoroughly enjoyed it, despite the subtitles being a bit confused and some of the naming issues :) This encompasses 3 chapters of a story and I have posted the fourth chapter a few hours ago :) Once again, thank you for sharing my story! A goid story, however, the trouble with the AI reading is that there is no change in tone or pause for a new chapter. So, there is no difference when the narrator of story changes. Is there a party two.
This seems to be several people speaking with exactly the same accent. How the bloody hell are we suppsed to follow what is going on when words like 'I' mean something different every sentence. I spent a long time thinking that Augustus was still speaking but there had been about three chanhes of speaker by then. Also, lose the in-video subtitles. Having TH-cam subtitles on as well is damn confusing, particulary as neither of them indicate a change of apeaker.
how spineless and delusional of you. ~prosperity and forgiveness can be considered AFTER examples were made and the offending parties ruined for any stretch of the future.
Someone hasn’t studied game theory. There’s a reason why so many plants and animals are poisonous, instead of altruistically giving up their flesh to their attackers.
The title is misleading. The human response was *not* about revenge, per se. It was dealing with a *threat* - a species that, as a whole, regarded any life other than their own as inferior and not worth consideration. The rest of the galaxy was wary of the K'krai and condemned them for their heartless behavior. If humans did *nothing,* then you *know* the ruthless K'krai would've just continued their expansionism and spread more destruction and misery.
@@PCJustice70 Indeed. If humanity did nothing, they'd be considered weak and quickly attacked again. I'm reminded of the most famous problem in game theory, the Prisoner's Dilemma. Computer simulations prove that cooperation pays, even among rivals, but it does risk being taken advantage of. The winning strategy for the Prisoner's Dilemma was clear: Be nice and somewhat forgiving, but don't be a pushover.
Oof. I blindly subscribed after checking out this channel because of the interesting content until I watched this which was the first video. Unsubbing, disliking, and do not recommend due to the cliffhanger.
@@bernardosantiago9615 I'm glad to see a creator engage with feedback like this. And I applaud your attitude about constructive feedback. Personally, I thought the story was pretty good. I did *not* find it disjointed or random. It was fine - certainly better than most HFY sci-fi videos I've heard. Though, I was disappointed in the way this ended on a cliffhanger like that when there's not even a hint of more. Is there a part 2?
This one's okay but I hate cliffhanger. It didn't even have an ending. Humans nearly wiped out a species. revived the ancient Roman Empire. Kept 10,000 of the species. to put them in their own sanctuary or they can't bother no one anymore. Another alien species tried to kill the new Roman Emperor and then ends.
Hot DAMN! The aliens removed that damn anchor from our necks! No more UN! Now we can get on with some REAL progress!
Please make a part 2 to this story I'm hooked to it now.🙏
I wish I knew that was not the whole story before I listened to it.

Well done!!
Thank you, very much appreciated.
where to read the other chapters?

Oh my....that's a cliff-hanger if I ever heard one! Please, part 2...
Now to find part 2
The AI images make this Sci-Fi feel like a horror story, not an HFY. Uncanny. Uncomfortable.
The Senate and People of Terra, eh?
Pax Humana is here, like it or not.
Kind of has a Sins of a Solar Empire feel to it. Where, is this story continued?

Part 2 plizzz........😭😭😭😭
Where do I find the rest of the story? It can’t just end with pikachu trying to kill the emperor
What, WHAT, WHAT!!!!!!
Where is the rest,
I want the rest,
Please, PLEASE, post the rest of this story.
IF NOT, I'll be very sad 😜😂😍😁
Is it accident they put coakroses in text?
You can't do this to me...... do you know how much this cliffhanger is hated
The hell. The ending was very disappointing
Where is ending???? 😢😢😢😢 garbag3....
uhm, no, we wont. Success is the best revenge. Time and energy is wasted on revenge.

~prosperity and forgiveness can be considered AFTER examples were made and the offending parties ruined for any stretch of the future.
You're just a wuss. Of course we'd take revenge

Expecting the UN to be effective🤣🤣, now or any time.
The UN is ineffective due to some countries having veto power.
This is not a good story. The AI narration didn't help, but the story is disjointed and random.
I'm the author.
How would you improve it? All inputs are valid as long as they're constructive.
Where did you feel it was disjointed?

@@XpaceTrue this video encompassed three chapters. There's a fourth chapter posted and I am currently in the process of writting a fifth :)
Don't know whether it was a good story or not. Couldn't follow it due to the lack of knowledge as to who was speaking
@@quantisedspace7047 the story is written and posted on r/HFY :) I think it might be easier to follow in writing
