This is right on. The spiritually mature must be able to teach, and that includes seeing your son is not fired up about Jesus, so love him to give him some extra father/son time and do Bible study WITH him- letting him do the reading and being Bereans together getting creative on doing a word search or listening to the Lord together as to what to study. We are in the very last days before the rapture, and if your family is not close to the Lord, they will be left behind. But even if some family gets left behind (my three adult children have gone into lukewarm Christianity), I believe that God is going to use them to be and make Tribulation saints. I have long left behind letters for them, and I believe that my four grandchildren will be flying up to heaven with me. My husband divorced me when I got born again and baptized, and only Jesus has been there as my constant companion for sixteen years. My channel has a letter if anyone needs a guide to write theirs to a lost loved one. Blessings and Maranatha.

My dad would scold me from the pulpit and embarrass me, MAKE me lift my hands, couldn't ask questions etc. I'm not saying this to out my dad because I have forgiven him and I love him and he did his best to bring me Jesus. But I did rebel. I rebelled hard.Backslid. I came back in my mid twenties...I'm thanking you though for recognizing the forced Jesus. I go through this with my daughter we can’t force them all we can do is plant seeds we must give them the same free will my daughter says the same thing so I just always talk to her about god she does choose to to read the word of god. I hope she always chooses to go to him but I will never stop encouraging her where to run to in the mighty name of Jesus may you all be blessed with love peace and joy ❤

Hey Brotha Bryann As a Pastor I have a 13yr old and I did the exact same thing. I had to stop and listen not Just to God but to my Son. Because it was causing more damage than help for him and I had to repent and Love Him to Jesus.. Thank You Brother for your honesty..
