Thank you for your comment. Cellulose is one of the best ways to insulate walls and ceilings, especially when you dense pack it. We DO NOT use spray foam for several reasons.
Thanks for your comment. You have to make sure that the insulation is not too dense packed, which will cause issues with hanging the drywall. We use 5/8"thick drywall, with 1 5/8" coarse screws to hang the drywall.
@@besttechscontractingdesign3885 I agree. But still have to meet 3.5 pounds per cubic foot or it’s not really dense packed. A discerning eye will see bulges in the drywall, even 5/8”, unless the walls are strapped horizontally.
the cellulose added to my 1957 non insulated house has been a great improvement , so glad i did not use expanding foam.

Great job. We love dense packing but unfortunately, Sheetrock crews hate hanging over it so we don’t get to do it much.

They say to use large hard roller to roll the bulge flat, you can use a 11" roller stand.
