The IS-4 was my first tier X, It took me about 2-3 months to get it 😭. It took way longer back then (2016)
The E5 was my first ever tier 10 heavy tank when I started playing 10 years ago. It has seen it’s ups and downs over these long years but I think it is now in a very advantageous position after the recent updates.
My first tier 10 was E50M, but I wasn't very good at playing mediums, didn't know much about positioning and I hated it, and told to everyone to not grind E50M.😅

Lol my first tank was t62a, I didn’t know how to play it so I sold it.
T110E5 was the 2nd line I grinded back then, right after grinding E100. Have to say this was a solid option. Playing M6 taught me side scraping & reversed one; Playing T29 & T32 taught me how to hull-down; Playing M103 taught me how NOT to over-turn the turret (else you'll get hit definitely). After all the grinding, T110E5 feels like a grand reward: tech tree tank with an almost impenetrable turret, a fairly strong upper front plate armor, a good mobility for such a HT, and a lovely gun. This line is efinitely worth grinding, as it's performing solidly still after so many years.
I also grinded the E100 before the E5 and im boutta unlock the IS7
Excellent video Droodles explaining what you are doing, where you are shooting and what shells to use…all the stuff that will help improve their game, positioning of tanks alone is massive and Ty for showing us…i really feel if it was required for all new players to watch your vids, we might have a better chance of having some exciting ( instead of frustrating ) battles.

Im grinding for the Jagdpanzer E100, planning to grind the E5 soon!
I believe the grind for the IS-7 is actually much easier and definitely was more enjoyable for me to play in my opinion. I found it easier to enjoy almost all the tanks in the IS-7 line compared to the E5. Only exception would be T29>IS. Grinding the E5 line raw was a unpleasant experience and I grinded the IS-7 before all the buffs it received. I was so relieved once i got E5 though cause the M103 is just, 💀.
Droodles speak fact i am grinding in this line and the line is godly

My first TX tank is the e5 I very much enjoyed grinding the line but not the m103 heheh
I think the E5's downside is a bit more than a noob can handle, because it's ammorack is literally the entire left and right sides of the hull.
can you do a complete E100 line video, or any tank really, i like the video concept
the m6 exp can still be HEed on its side cuz it has the same hullas the m6 but the front is just modified for more armor
I say that 60TP Polish Heavy Line is also great for noob/beginner players starting out.
At 40TP Habicha you have a fairly good tank with decent armor and gun.
45 TP Habicha is an upgraded version of 40TP Habicha. Solid gun and armor (in fact, i got some pretty nice bounces with this tank when i first started to grind it)
53TP to 50TP is also great tanks. You have a derp gun that is solid for beginners to use because of how simple they are and the armor of both tanks are nice. speed is also not to worry about because it's quite fast for a heavy.
Beginners should know what tanks will be great for them in tech tree line in tier 6-9. Not just the Tier 10 itself because you don't need to rush when you're still new.
Grinding to get this one so this its a solid line to work
The T29 is just pain and the T32 stock gun is torture,the M103 is decent tho

My first tier 10 is the t62a its a really great tank its very mobile but dont poke too much because you have no hull armour

My first tank is M-VI-Yoh. It's hard to master, the dispersion is crazy, the reload is super long for the double shot. It is a punish or get punished tank. It has reticle calibration but in quite a few situations my first shot always miss. It's amour is not that strong even though it's good at hull down. Whoever masters this tank is very good at this game.
I wish I knew this sooner because I just researched the is-7 as my first tier 10

Type 71, E5 and E100 are grare lines to start with as a new player. IS-4 line used to be really good too except stock ST-1 but IS-4 is a piss garbage now so...
Id usally agree on not driving stock season tanks, but my half upgraded DTH-STR is averaging 3.5k 😂 i think thats rhe exception to the rule as irs bustedly good 😂

It's always funny whenever I go check my stats and I see my M6 with 100% winrate of 6 games, reaching the T29 on the same day I got the tank. Not even just the same day, on the same HOUR.
When I first started WOTB, my first nation is China... One of the more challenging tank lines to play as a beginer. Guess what? I'm at 17k battles now and maintained a 58% WR. Untl today, I only play the Chinese lines. Never have I grinded those typical "nub" nations

Prem tanks earn most credits.....in any tank tho,the more you can pen the enemy while taking the least damage possible will earn you the best credits. So rushing in and dying or almost dying will cost you credits to repair your tank.
My first line I grinded was the Amx-50B 💀 , I know a bad choice i suffered at tier 7 and 9 ( this was before the tier -7 god pbr armor buff etc) , But geting the 50B and playing made me learn the game better , now i dont even olaay carelesly even in heavily armired heavys like type-71 or 60tp !

For my experience, The first line I ever grinded was the Type 71, unaware that it was overpowered and such I just grinded the Type 71 for the Camo and MBT-estq look of it. I’m kinda ashamed that’s my reason for grinding it.

my first tier 10 is E100
All beginners you should go the Leopard line first....
The E5 was my first t10 as a new player and I enjoyed it a lot. I will say though, in my opinion the e100 is probably the best tier 10 for beginners, you can get away with playing brain dead a lot of the time and angling is a lot easier than going hulldown. Not to mention the alpha of the e100 just allows you to poke someone and win the trade most of the time. And even if you get nuked for over agressing, you have so much hp and great module durability so it won’t hurt that much. the reason why the e5 line is not the best for beginners but you need a brain to play it. It has terrible sides and rear and if you make one slight over agression you get nuked, and obviously yolos happen all too often and the e5 is a tank, without team support will be yoloed pretty often, it has low alpha so people aren’t afraid of it, similar to the concept. Beginners will do best in tanks that do well on flat ground usually in the form of type 71 or pretty much any German superheavy, I don’t think the is7 is that beginner friendly of a tank even though the tank itself is great for beginners, it’s just the fact that the rest of the line has no hull armor and no gun depression, which even a 55% er like myself even struggles to use the tanks.
The e5 and tis 400 alpha while weaker still has some dpm to it and the reason I don't prefer thr e100 is due to the fact its not only big but VERY easy to pen now I mean hell I'm pretty sure even the 5a can pen the turret with standard ammo new players are better off with the e5 and actually learning from it the e100 while able to help with mistakes still has the big disadvantage of bring targeted overall I think the e5 is a better combination of power speed and mobility
@@a1marine105 True. I am playing E100 and now getting pen from every single time.
@@a1marine105 erm, actually the e100 turret not angled is ~300mm effective when being aimed at by ap shells. Therefore, the wz 111 5a 260 ap pen has a zero percent chance of penning the e100 turret and even with the buff to calibrated shells it still has zero chance. Even then, I can say from experience, the e100 is one of the best holding tanks in the game. I have had multiple battles where I have held off an entire flank of 2 or more tanks and survived some of them. And when you say, “it’s not only big but very easy to pen.” And when you also say, “still has the disadvantage of being targeted.” Sure, any tank OUT IN THE OPEN is going to be targeted, but in the case of the e100 and German superheavies in general, they are meant to take shots for the team. They are meant to be targeted. Not to be a jackass, but why do you think German superheavies have 2700+ hp and a shit ton of armor and are shaped like a box, TO DEAL WITH TAKING SHOTS, BLOCKING DAMAGE, AND DEALING WITH MULTIPLE OPPONENTS AT ONCE. It doesn’t matter if German superheavies have not a lot of effective armor, in most engagements I win because of the sheer amount of hp the e100 has, and pair that with 680 alpha, you trade shots, that’s all you do, you can’t do that in the e5, and it’s so much easier to trade shots than farm damage for free, farming damage takes skilled positioning, and chances are most beginners are just going to drive the way their directed at the start of a game. And the e100 is one of the tanks that can drive pretty much anywhere Now I don’t mean yolo in the open, deal zero damage and die. Im talking about using your hp in situations where you have to make a push or save a teammate, etc. I think that’s what I think you don’t understand based on what you said. Being “big” isn’t always a downside. Sure, on maps like canal or other large open maps. It’s not good to be driving a large viechle. The same goes for light tanks on maps like middleburg or mines. Certain tanks prefer certain maps. But at the end of the day certain people also do better in certain tanks. Me personally, I need SOME form of armor to do well, be it hulldown med like a m48 Patton or t62a, to German superheavy like e100 or jagd e100. But the fact of the matter is, and Droodles says this himself, the e100 is one of the most brain dead tanks in tier 10. It has one of the simplest playstyles of side scraping the hull and turret against a wall, poking the turret, bonking someone, then re-sidescrape, and repeat. Don’t get me wrong going hulldown is easy af. But the thing that still challenges me a bit about the e5. Is how to tackle non hulldown engagements. The e5 is INSANE hulldown, but once you leave that hulldown spot, you can super easily get tracked, get a damaged rack, and die. It’s even worse when the e5 has a classic American reverse speed of 12. If that challenges a 55%er with 2.5k avg dmg in t10, it won’t be any easier for a new player. And if you’re still not convinced that the e100 is a better tank for beginners after that, you can go check blitzstars and look at the relative winrate for the e100 vs the e5. One last thing, why do you think the Maus is the highest winrate tank in tier ten? It’s a punching bag, it distracts the enemies and lets your team farm off of you. Now obviously the only thing you should avoid at all costs in the e100, is camping.

@@WoTB_ConMan5 also tanking hits from multiple tanks does the e5 already not do that when hulldown? Also I checked blitzstars for top tanks and e5 48 maus 50 and I think e100 a bit higher but for the moment none of them are even close to the highest wr in tier X atm but im still researching further

I quit this game 4 years ago now? Cuz no matter what tank you grind wargaming will add premium tanks that are much better than tech tree vehicles to the point where you don't even need skill. Kinda suprised the games still alive seeing theyve only added a few new lines and rest all premiums
Im going to be honest the type 71 line is better. The mistu 108 is decent. Ju nu is mid. Ju to is also mid. Chi se is busted and is my 2nd faveorite t8. Type 68 was very fun. Type 71 hull down is busted
