After having slain Kel'Thuzad in the Human campaign, Arthas is tasked with resurrecting him as a Lich so that he may summon Archimonde and usher in the Burning Legion's conquest. The urn of King Terenas is deemed the best choice of phylactery, having been magically enchanted. The king's ashes are scattered to the four winds and replaced with Kel'Thuzad's remains, until the necromancer can be brought back.
The Urn was protected by Uther , Arthas and Uther fight for the Urn Uther was owning him until Arthas slashed his throat and killed him instantly , He opened the Urn , The ashes of his father getting out of it and showering on Arthas (this was the novel part)
