Thanks for making this! It's a great tutorial. The issue that requires renaming the file is a bug I was not aware of. The file should come out with the proper name, but I don't have Gamepass anymore so I can't debug to fix it. I can implement the NuGet dependency update though. Will push that out soon!
Great F video my man, I was searching for something like this before a month and couldnt find anything so I refunded my steam game just cause of that so today I searched again for no reason and it actually worked easy and flawlessly so THANK YOU
Absolutely correct. Microsoft have been so lazy with this. Sea of Thieves has cloud cross-save and no issues, but Forza for some reason decides not to... Clearly as shown in my video it's totally possible too!
worked like a charm. Easy to follow. Thanks Brother! i already played about 10 Hours on Steam because i thought you cant transfer the save. but it worked. Thank You so much! Wish u all the best ♥
I haven't tried it, but on the application you can see there is a move up button, I would back up both copies of your Xbox and Steam progress then try the copy up, try and copy the same rename structure that is in my video and hopefully it will work! I have not tested this though
@@fadentustaannuru Hi, developer here, You can move games from a non-Steam version to the Xbox version, but there's a minor caveat. You can only replace existing files in the MS store version, not add new ones. If you've opened the MS store version enough to have the profile files exist in the upper table, then you can replace them with your steam save files.

This shouldn't be required, cross-saves should just work. However, this is a great tutorial for the workaround!
