Everyone I know is re-evaluating this very thing right now. My husband and I discuss it every day. We have given our children, now young adults, the gift of taking their time to establish who they are in life. Our generation was encouraged to jump on the hamster wheel as the best way to "success". Now it's time to learn this lesson for ourselves.
My job/work schedule controls my mind even when I'm not there. It's like I'm always racing against time to get my personal life goals accomplished before the work week starts.
I feel we are going through a period of spiritual awakening. Many are waking up and becoming aware of the structures that have been put in place, deliberately to keep us away from our greatness.
I realized a few years ago that rushing and being stressed is NOT for me. I don’t enjoy driving myself crazy. My wellness is more important than any paycheck.

Omg! For real... it's tuff in U.S. sustaining quality of life as a previous single mother. I'd work 11 to 7 nursing. Then 10am to 3pm massage.. Story of my life. ❤juggling 5 kids, fortunately now allows me to manage my own business. Blessings always along the Journey back to self🎉
Everytime I walk into a modern supermarket it always brings to mind the trivial reality of scarcity allowed among the population. Pimping out that which was given to us (the natural world) for power, preeminence, and women..
We found ways to measure time. When you are paid, like Ms. Hill was, you have an obligation on a professional level to the people you do business with and she owes it to her fans. She was not in the right. Those tickets, I hear, weren't cheap.

Most Blacks in America can care less about health/harmony/balance. Now 57, healthier than I’ve ever been. I’ve stopped chasing that carrot over 20 years ago.
Most white people are one ❄️. We pressure each other into submission and see each other as rivalries instead of a community. I hate the immaturity here
