Yes, I saw her interviewed, as well! She is fabulous!!
When your lawyer says, “Why you didn’t finish high school?” you should be worried that you’ve got another ineffective counsel standing beside you.
So even after he stood up and swore to all that, he is still allowed to withdraw his plea? I don't care if he has a learning disability he sexually assaulted a child. He is dangerous and needs jail. That defense attorney doesn't sound competent.
He's a liar and manipulating the system. Simple as that.
Sorry but a learning disability is his excuse to say, "I'm innocent" He knows right from wrong & he knows what he did. Ridiculous
Seriously you learn right from wrong when you are 3…him knowing how to read or write has nothing to do with knowing right from wrong
Thank you for doing the followup on this. It is very important to see justice done - not left "hanging".
Finally some justice.
Long time coming.
I agree that if a person makes it to high school, he knows how to read...or the school has some explaining to do.
His lawayer seems like a regular homeboy
All of the time, recourses, and tax dollars wasted is astounding. People don’t think about how our dollars could benefit so many people who actually need it.
Furthermore: he could have said months before that he wasn’t happy with his representation 🙄
Those sentences should have been consecutive not concurrent!!😡
Lawyer number two doesn’t appear any smarter than the defendant
I wish the sentences would run consecutively.
Two victims = two sentences
Neither this defendant nor his attorney can speak English in any semblance of an intelligible manner.
His attorney is the worst orator I’ve ever seen.
Omg I couldn’t hear anything past “why you plead guilty.. why you plead no contest?” 🥴
Hey, somebody has to be at the bottom of the class.
Maybe time for this attorney to retire or take on cases where it doesn’t take a lot of work….maybe he’s tired.
Fired the public defender to hire an attorney who literally did nothing for his client that the public defender was not doing.
Proving that some times generic is just as good as brand ... without the higher costs.
Alll right alll the time alll right!
The defence attorney should be fired for incompetency!
Where did that lawyer get his degree? He is horrible. He cant even speak properly
I was thinking the same thing! 🙄
😅🤣😂
He got his degree from Acme school of legal stuff! Lol 😂
Fiesta
He graduated from University of DEI
“Why you didn’t finish high school for”🤣🤣 imaging your lawyer speaking like this
I didn’t graduate either! I can read but I realized some years ago I’m A.D.D and back in the 70s I didn’t learn like anyone else! I struggled an by the time I was in 10th grade math was to much for me so I quit 🤦🏻♀️well being that I was pregnant that came in to play lol But having a learning disability has nothing to do with what he did to a child! He’s caught and looking at prison he’d throw his own mother under the bus! Sick
He’ll be really popular in prison!! 😂😂😂😂😂. Ah, he’s trying to work up some tears.
"How long have u known your brother." Are u serious dude 😅
Oh believe me those guys are waiting for him in prison. And he knows it. He’s not that incompetent.
Fans of Judge Boyd should check out an interview with her in which she talks about her life & the forces that shaped it including how it affects her work as a judge today. It's really interesting & can be found on a channel called 'Fabulous Over 50'.
I cant stand anyone who hurts children or women. Im 61 and had a family member "hurt" me for years. It truly affected my outlook on relationships for years. I had good women that helped me through that and showed me true love and tenderness showing me what love is truly meant to be.
Crockodile tears.... he isnt sorry especially when he did it a second time. He was crying because he probably knows what waits for him in prison.
No Little kids in prison
He's upset because he knows exactly what's going to happen to him in prison!
The retained counsel does not appear to have a better understanding or education than the client! The way he speaks makes me INSANE! The client (defendant) actually speaks better than attorney!
Judge Boyd is such a great judge😃💖💖
Think you’re exactly right…he’s playing with the court…he’s a waste of time and money. Not sure this attorney is much better. That was a waste of time calling his sister…think they failed at what they were attempting to do. This guy has an attitude and I bet he was a crap shoot to work with….and I think he’s lying…trying to postpone this. The state’s attorney most of the time is not the best…hope she does better here. Another attempt at postponing this. This guy is smarter than he lets on….knows exactly what he’s doing…with sister’s help I believe.
His lawyer graduated high school that’s it 😂
This is a despicable human being who had not an ounce of remorse. Wish he could have been sentenced to more than 4 years.
He doesn’t even seem embarrassed or ashamed. 😮😮😮
Should have stayed with the first attorney. At least he passed the bar.
In prison his nickname is the Spanish Tickler.
I wasn’t buying the “I can’t read” BS & apparently neither did the judge. He is where he belongs
My brother in law was a functioning illiterate when he graduated high school. The school even told him that they were going to pass him even though he did not earn his grade. He had no behavioral issues, he was also an undiagnosed dyslexic. Sadly, this still happens today...
He simplely doesn't care.
The absolute AUDACITY for him to ask for a second chance because he worked long hours at Toyota🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️,,, girl if working at Toyota is making you touch kids then we gotta shut Toyota DOWN😭😭😭
This guy needs to hear the cell door clanging shut.
The only incompetent person in this case is the new attorney.
Just listening to his sister defending this monster infuriated me. She just better keep her children away from him!
Yes, yes, yes, it is called a certificate of attendance and because of No Child Left Behind laws. Schools constantly churn out students who can read. They are just passed up to the next grade level. It pathetic.
Cannot read.
"Schools constantly churn out students who can read" .... YOU typed this. YOU are one of those students. Jesus....you also typed "It pathetic." It just gets worse.
A friend teaches 5th grade. She is prohibited from failing students. What benefit does the district expect for giving the kids harder material before they grasp fundamentals?
@@arh1234more money to be added to admin salaries instead of students, that's what it's always about.
@@dennissvitak5475 I type one finger on an iPad, please forgive me my typing transgressions, lol
My favorite part is when she say, “Good luck to you”. 😂😂😂😂😂
8 This attorney has a serious language barrier. Ineffective
I love that they want to withdraw the plea because of the ineffective counsel due to his supposed (then disproved incompetence) and this new EFFECTIVE counsel has him testify without having the competency hearing, priceless. Judge Boyd is so polite I would be so frustrated. Especially when they're asking for a second chance these victims never get a second chance; glad she doesn't give a break to these types of crimes.
Thank you judge Boyd...
