- Going for your further studies abroad is an exciting as well as a daunting event. And, if your chosen field happens to be fashion, then you’ve got to be extra careful with your preparations. Make sure to create a checklist of things you’ll need in order to have everything in one place. For once you’ve arrived at your new destination, getting any essentials from your home would be a long process.
Studying fashion abroad is like entering a new phase of your life all on your own. As young children, we live in a protected environment where our needs are always looked after by our parents. But once you are in a new country, you’ve got to be independent and in charge of your own needs. While this may sound scary, independence has its own perks. You get to live the way you want and follow the kind of lifestyle that's comfortable for you. Studying fashion abroad not only gives a boost to your career but also makes you responsible and mature. So while you may be scared to enter this new phase, it’s best to look at the bright side and move forward.

Me being from a middle class family and you said focusing on the top 10 fashion schools is it possible that these top schools give scholarship to international students or indian scholarships for studying abroad in fashion. I wanna pursue my undergrad in fashion styling but deep down finance is kind of a barrier please give a reality check I don't wanna day dream 😭

Di my style's kind of hollywood..coz i'm sooooomuch influenced by hollywood fashion....i'm stuck into fashion tv the whole day with paper and pen...so i'm somuch contemplating on what r the lessons taught in nift india....or should i definetely study abroad for complete exposures....😥

Hi, Jury is like an exam that happens for all semesters in design colleges. You present your work in a Jury. And no you don't have to wear the clothes you design and present them. You'll present your designs by making other people/models wear them.

Hi, there's definitely a lot opportunities to get jobs there. It really depends on the situation of a particular student and also their choice. The certificate from FIT holds a lot of value internationally and good opportunities are available at most places. Some people prefer to back to India to work because it definitely is more convenient and finances play a major role.

Hey, a degree or even a diploma would really be helpful to work in the industry. It's all about knowing the basics of the industry you want to work in.

She is currently studying her 11th std CBSE course and also taking coaching for UCEED from the past 6 months. There has been some changes and because of this we will be moving to the USA in couple of months .
