Fun fact/history lesson: back in 2017 hard raids used 100 fuel, all raids were for copper only, electronics were gained in missions, and plastic and batteries didn't exist
Scrap, wires and batteries should have the same time, since the queue/MM for all of these 3 are the same, so here you are putting scrap into a disadvantage (going from 0,77 to 0,96) making it the best one
There are 4 VERY important things you missed: 1. Daily and Weekly missions: you can get TONS of Scrap just for playing normally basically, also if you do 8 wins for scrap, 10 wins for Wires, 12 wins for Batteries and 1 other challange you can get Epic container every few weeks, which is worth 300 coins. Also 42 daily missions award you Mining Container which you should sell for around ~35 coins (never sell at the end of week it is cheapest then) 2. You have 200 free fuel every day (which can not be sold) so using it is always gain. 3. Nobody on server can have 100% win rate in PvP matches, so coins gained from all PvP matches are actually lower by around 20-40% i would say, also you can win but die/lose fuel tanks quite often so fuel gain is SIGNIFICANTLY lower. 4. Hard raids for electronics might be best way to get coins...... If you enjoy them.... They drain soul and sanity because they require no brain (with ok build and not trash teammates).... So i wouldn't recommend them unless someone likes them. I love to do Invasions vs Leviathans much more for example as I can see other players ideas of how to build good leviathans and this mode is much more enjoyable, not so monotonous. PvP matches are even better in this regard. What I mean is that it is hard and boring to actually do 20 hard raids in row(not because they are hard but because you just want to leave) ... But very easy to play 20 PvP matches or Invasions in row as they are much more entertaining
Thanks! I've always enjoyed making and editing videos, but posting on TH-cam is new for me. I am working on more videos, so stay tuned and thanks for subscribing!
Man made an entire analytical video on a virtual, currency that cannot be traded for real-world goods or services. This is actually very helpful. Thank you.
I’m very happy this popped up in my recommended this is the first time I’ve ever seen you and you by far the most helpful out there especially since I just switched to pc.
I mean, i knew EXACTLY what are the top 5 spots in both tables, but it was still interesting to go through thr whole calculation the same. The only thing that must be said, is that the challanges play a major role. So before you start grinding wire and batteries missions, do all the challanges first. Also, on the days that Gaijin gives one day of free premium, it is highly effective to grinf plastic raids, even if you buy fuel to do them. It is however really borring. Also, wires tend to have a stable price, while during seasons and certain time limited events, a price of batteries can jump up to 5 coins pre 10 pieces, instead of 1.7 usuall price. So it might be usefull to stockpile batteries rather than wires in the long run
Thanks for the detailed video. As a crossout player who hasn't played since about 2016, this video was EXTREMELY useful! Soon I'll have those 4 burst machine guns I have always dreamed of!
That's great! I'm glad to hear that you benefitted from this content, be sure to check out my other videos for more tips and tricks if you're interested. 🙂
Great video, thanks for confirming my value suspicions! I also consider the value of badges from weekly missions, since exchanging badges can net you a decent amount of coins every now and then (haven't seen your video on that yet, but I've run the numbers there myself). For that reason I usually maximize my daily free fuel usage in raids by doing 2 Hard Electronics and 2 Normal Plastic for five days, then doing 5 normal copper raids for the remaining two days; netting 800 badges per week on raids if you don't fail any.
Great guid thankyou for confirming. It's worth mentioning this is the PC marketplace, the prices between platforms are wildly different but for the most part their value in relation to eachother stays the same.
this video, just like all the things in the world, isn't perfect, but i can surely tell that a lot of time went into this and i found this information to be very useful, even though, i have been playing crossout for almost 3 years now. good work, like button for sure.
Exactly. You get it. I'm getting flak for not having the same values as other players, but that's the reality of this situation. I'm terrible at math too, so yeah, "a lot of time went into this". Thanks for the support!
I just found this channel and love the information being gathered and put out for the community! I was just wondering if you had considered adding the cost of engineering badges from the weekly quests to the total outcome values for each game mode, and if that would weight any of the game modes differently? Awesome video :)
Thanks man! I did consider it, but I made tough decision NOT to include the badge exchange as part of the totals. Instead I made a separate video on the badge exchange. Check it out and let me know what you think!
Great video man. I'm amazed at all the crossout players that watch and commented. I'll definitely take this video into consideration when I get the chance to play tomorrow. Keep it up
In addition to getting 200 fuel a day, you also earn scrap and badges for completing the daily and weekly challenges. Badges can be traded in for any resource so basically you should follow the challenges that give the most reward first. (Hard raids then batteries then medium raids, wires and so on. And make sure to complete your dailies) Once you've completed all challenges for the week you can use this guide to keep grinding. Also, I am somewhat reassured that your ranking pretty much matches the badge rewards for weeklies. You aren't really losing anything by prioritizing the dailies.
Thanks for sharing those details Richard. It's true, daily and weekly challenges are great for earning more resources. I made a separate video on the badge exchange as well if you're interested. 🙂
Great guide and spot on, I've been here long enough now that I dont even carry fuel tanks anymore (easier for the enemy to splode you) but all new players should carry tanks. I do the same thing every week starting on Sunday first i run batteries to get the engineers badges then scrap then wire's so thats 12, 8 and 10 matches i believe then I just continue with wires till its done then move to scrap till its done which is usually by Saturday then just do batteries till the new week starts and I hold on to everything till there's good exchange rates or as good as I think there going to be and sell in bulk at that time. I dont even run raids anymore just PvP unless there's some mission I have to run like for the battlepass season.
Using your same formula on xbox for times, and the current xbox prices, it comes out that just running scrap missions and selling the fuel tops the chart. Fuel and scrap prices are just that much higher and the speed of the missions makes it better investment. Bit of a bummer that the best way to earn money is bot smashing.
Hey @tcs23 do you have an updated sheet that has the details for the equipment crates.. Equipment set U1 Equipment set U2 Equipment set U3 Equipment set U4 Equipment set S1 Equipment set S2 Equipment set S3
Hmm, I haven't checked that chart in a while and it's connected to CrossoutDB so that might be where the problem is coming from. I'll try to see what I can do.
I appreciate you sharing it with all of us. I only started playing the game about a week or so ago, I'm playing on a Playstation so for example one of your tips about changing my region for for quicker matching isn't an option but all the other tips are great. Looking forward to watching more of your content if you're planning on making more. I'm still trying to get the grips of the stock changes in the market and how to get the most Coin out of my items.
@@patrykmalecki3472 That's great man! Players like yourself are what motivated me to start making these videos, and I've always enjoyed editing anyways. Yeah, I understand not all tips will apply to console players and I apologize for that. ...and Yes! I do have more content coming, in fact, I will be uploading a new video in the next hour or so. 🙂
@@TCS23 That's awesome, glad to hear you're doing something you enjoy. I really like how in depth the game has become what I mean is that not only you interact with other players through battle but also by shearing your creations and you're able to craft, buy and sell your stuff to others. And I'm only a beginner here 😅 well I'll probably still be awake so I'll check it out 👌
Your guide was simple to understand and instead of just spitting out numbers you explained the whole process so that when the market changes we can calculate it ourselves, that's some quality content right there!!! Keep it up!
I’m on Xbox but is the same, electronics are the big deal. 50% bonus from premium lifts the reward even higher. 100 electronics are about 200 coins on Xbox. Very nice video👍👍 i was to lame to do all this math in detail. But the only Raid i did all the time using the free fuel was electronics😅
Thanks for the feedback! My next video is on the Badge Exchange but it's taking me a bit longer than I expected. It should be ready not too long from now. 🙂
It’s a great baseline but just keep in mind that prices change constantly on the market, scrap generally tends to be winner in terms of profit these days but it all depends what people are crafting. Check the resource costs on CrossoutDB to find what’s currently most expensive.
What i do is pay close attention to many parts on the market, waiting for a drop. When there is a good deal, invest invest invest. When the price goes back up again, sell sell sell. Great with resources. I stopped crafting and i went from 400 coins a week to 2k. Definitely worth
@@TCS23 i am trying to get some electronics. I sold tons of meta and copper from raids and missions, and since the price dropped drastically in the ps4 servers, i copped 900 electrics for 1000 coins instead of 1200
you could always just build the highest profitable purple item and just buy all the cyan parts needed straight out the market, do this for both factions at the same time and that's 200 coins made in passive time of 6 hours, and then grind scrap and copper also grind badges and then trade them in for copper as well
Yo man good job. I know it's a bit nitpicky, but have you taken into account raid types and their speed vs the earnings? I see you've settled down on CPM, so perhaps quicker raids would throw a wrench into the maths. But from what I know quicker raids are objectively bad. I wish devs made all raids equal cause I hate waiting for the occasion to play specific raid type, and imo defense is 3rd raid in ranking of fun (except on crater, on crater its super fun).
Hey man, thanks for the feedback! I was considering adding the raid types into the mix, but that would have been considerably more work. I tried to play a variety of raid modes for each level of raid and I left it at that. There are so many variable layers you have to consider when you are looking for the "best" way to make money. Consider this video a gauge rather than a definitive answer.
@@NELLNICK Yeah, it's just another variable that I chose not to include. 200 fuel is gone in a flash especially if you're doing Hard raids. I would consider the daily fuel as more of a free bonus. And chances are, if you're playing raids, you're spending a lot more than 200 fuel in a day.
I’m the comment you’re looking for. Mission for wires and sell wires if you don’t have fuel to use. Hard raid for electronics and sell electronics if you have fuel to use.
I came back after 5 years and was shocked to see how much has changed. My buddy helped me but he's not f2p so this was very helpful. I just have to grind now to unlock hard raids now. Thanks for the info bud.
Something I feel was left out and should be taken into consideration is raids are proportional to how well you score, i.e. how many enemies you destroy. Even though you earn score just for completing objectives you earn it from also destroying enemies. That means that raids are much less reliable sources of income. Otherwise, great video man!
This is a really cool comparison for what it is, but the title is misleading. This is really about which game modes earn the most money on their own. But as for the best way to earn money, you have to factor in the daily/weekly challenges. That's where the real money is.
Thanks for your comments. I debated whether or not to include those challenges, and by extension, the ENGINEER BADGE EXCHANGE. In the end I went with what was available on the world map. Hopefully, I'll be able to work up another video that touches on the other ways to make money in the game.
Man, this is realy great guide session..I wish, I could saw it at my beginnings and not learning it hardway. Definitaly my coin bilance would look diferent:). Good job.
Dont forget that not all raids gove the same reward total Frontier defense is easily the best raid to do as you can earm waaay more than any other raid and steel cradle is the worst raid to do
@TCS23 BIG QUESTION PLZ ANSWER: It looks like this vid was made playing on PC. Do these rankings remain true across PS4/ other consoles? I play on ps4 and to me the numbers dont seem to match up, but maybe it's just me. Or maybe at least the rankings are still could be true even with different resource prices ? Can anyone verify this? Maybe I'll repeat your repeat your research and math process on my PS4
Hey Cody, I'm pretty positive that the PC rankings are different compared to Console rankings. Even the resource prices on PC fluctuate up and down, so I wouldn't count on anything being identical to the video. I mainly wanted to give players an idea of what to expect, an overview of these game modes, and show everyone how to calculate these values for themselves.
Yea it is still slightly simplified cuz there are things like time spending in queues But i have a question, doesnt it more profitable to do 3 leviathan raids for a total time of 7:36 and get 2,94$ instead of 1 for electronics? In matters of time/money. Besides you have free fuel and the raid costs less amount of fuel than electronics. ffs im so dumb to misunderstand that the info is coins per minute
Hey man, sorry for the late reply, TH-cam doesn't always notify you of everyone's comments. Yeah, I haven't watched this video in awhile since I've been working on other projects, but you are correct about the last screen displaying coins per minute. 🙂
One thing I don't understand in this game is why people sell items for less than their worth in crafting. Literally this makes the whole system pointless because it's more productive to sell raw materials than it is to craft and sell stuff. Why do people even bother crafting?
imo, I think it's because it gives players a sense of control and accomplishment. I also think some people really don't like to bother with haggling for items on the Market.
1. First 200 fuel is "free" and unsellable, use or lose it. 2. Different versions of Raids give different reward amounts. Raid selection counts beyond "copper, plastic or electronics."
The amount of copper in Leviathan mode depends on your power score, for example, at 14000 PS the average copper is 240. The adventure mode is not worth mentioning for beginners as it's a good source of XP for the engineer faction which allows you to build larger build.
@TCS23 how long approximately did it take you to unlock every item? Because I lost my account that had 8000 ps, and was wandering how long it would take to get everything back.
Ive found out a way to farm 40-50 gold, You just need alot of fuel, Or you can just play missions alot while using fuel barrel and fuel tank which gets you 15 fuel per game (If you won), Using that fuel to farm plastic raids and getting 100 plastic and selling it for 40-50 gold depending on demand.
One thing you didnt take into account was the match making time. It seems that pvp takes longer to find a match then raids (pve). You should take into account the expected amount of matches you can beat in an hour instead the time it takes to beat a match. Edit: I now realize why he didn't, switch your server to Russia and matchmaking is instant, used be about 4 minutes now its 5 seconds
I agree, it's a grind no matter which way you approach it. I made a Badge Exchange Guide that might help you with earning coins, so check that out if you're interested. 🙂
I didnt know raids for plastic would rank that low to be honest and that missions for batteries would be higher than scrap? 😅 But all that depends on the market in the end.. scrap prices are crazy on pc right now.
@@Blargy2inch Yeah, it will be awhile. I've been logging my games, especially the various raids. There are quite a few different ones along with each difficulty level. Plus I'm working on another tips and tricks video. I'm taking my time but eventually I'll get to it. 😂
Good question, I haven't played every weapon but I definitely have some favorites. All SHOTGUNS are solid weapons. I use MG13 EQUALIZERS for raids, and ICINERATORS for battles against Leviathans. PYRES with the DUSK cabin are really effective too.
Yes, I have plans to make more builds in different power scores. I'm nearly finished with a video on the BADGE EXCHANGE, so I should have that posted soon.
Good suggestion. There are certainly more ways to make money for "free" in XO, and market trading is definitely one of them. I plan on making a video about the recently updated market so stay tuned for more content! 🙂
That is correct, Frontier Defence earns the most resources, and Steel Cradle earns the least. This has been discussed already in the comments, but as you can see in the video I played several types of raids to get a decent average.
I do believe that there is no difference between wires batteries and scrap in terms of difficulty. So why did you add average time as one of the factors?
Well, in terms of difficulty it's true, they are the same. However, they ARE different in terms of Power Score requirements. That alone would create a difference in player matchups. Factors like that create a change in final results.
Then you made a profit my friend! 😂 But seriously, I know what you're saying, that market tip is more about NOT using quick buy/sell option. I have a Market Guide in the works that will go a bit deeper into making a profit, so stay tuned if you're interested. 🙂
If anyone still comes here to read my sad comments to the dubious advise proposed in this video: 1: In every mission where you compete against living players, being a new player (noob, if you like) you cannot hope to win more than 50 % of encounters. You should probably consider yourself lucky to win 30 - 40 % of your encounters. For this reason, the calculations for missions made by TCS23 are hugely optimistic. Your actual earnings for missions could be as little as half of his estimates. 2: Adding a fuel tank to your vehicle is always a liability. It makes your vehicle far easier to destroy. This becomes a lesser problem, the more "armor" you can add to your vehicle to embed and hide the fuel tank. But as a beginner, you will certainly feel the pain if you bring a fuel tank. This decreases the scope of fuel harvesting, if you are new to the game. 3: The major source of easy coins is not by selling resources like scrap, but by building rare components and selling them. Sometimes you can even make some profit by selling common components, because prices may fluctuate a lot. But rare components are a more reliable income source. Note that building and selling special equipment is a very bad idea. Epic components may be profitable in some situations, but generally not as profitable as rares. 4: If you find that you have accumulated a lot of plastic, wires, or batteries, you will probably need them at a later time to build more advanced equipment, or to get certain upgrades. It is generally a bad idea to sell any of these commodities. Scrap may be an exception to the rule, as you may end up with far more scrap than you have a use for. But if you sell too much, you may end up buying it back later, which means a net loss of around 20% of the original scrap value. 5: A very nice way to get several 100 coins at once (200 - 400 approximately), is to accumulate badges and exchange them for the epic Pathfinder crate, each time you have gathered 3000 badges. It takes some grinding to get the maximum amount, but you will accumulate badges every week, just by playing. You can either sell the box, or open it to see if you want to keep, or sell, the contents. If you just want to sell, it may be safer to sell the crate unopened. (However, in another video, TCS23 explains that the chance to get a better price by opening the crate and then selling the contents, is about 60%.) 6. If you can part with some real-world money, you can pay the basic season fee to get all the goodies at a reasonable price (10 euros). During events you will also get to earn extra coins, often 1000 or more, with relative ease. Or you could pick up some of the cheaper "packs", timing your purchase to when they are on sale at, usually, 50% discount. Carefully investigate the contents to find out if there are parts that you can sell off. Many packs contain the same type of engine, coolers, wheels and so on. 7. Sometimes you will be given a premium subscription as a free gift. Usually for two days, but sometimes for up to a week. This means that you can earn 40 coins every day, just by winning two missions. This takes 5 minutes, which is probably the fastest in-game coin profit possible. 8. It is possible (barely) to make money on the components market, by carefully timing your transactions. This is highly risky, because you loose 10% when you buy and a further 10% when you sell. But placing bids can result in some good deals. 9. Some players say that Invasion is a good source of copper. The problem is, it is also a reliable waste of repair kits (respawn-icons). I find it difficult to actually earn credits by playing against the cheasy leviathans that some players field. It doesn't help that many players just give up after getting killed twice, making things much harder for the one or two players who try to fight on. I would not recommend Invasion to a new player.
Thanks for your input Rasmus. Even though this guide was made a while back, I still read all the comments and encourage these types of discussions, so here is my response to each point. 1) My calculations for earning resources were based on the average amount earned from victories, not based on win/loss percentage, which is why I excluded my losses in the video. 2) Adding Fuel tanks to your build is about risk vs reward. If you purposely try to play this game for free, then adding a Fuel barrel and tank to your build is an essential link towards earning free money in the game. 3) Sometimes selling resources is better than crafting parts to sell them for a profit. The best way to determine whether or not you should sell resources or use them in crafting is to check crossoutdb.com/ Unfortunately, this currently only works for PC players, but it's a good gauge. 4) If you're not on PC, I would agree that it's probably best to save resources such as Plastic, Electronics, Wires, and Batteries rather than sell them. 5) I agree, the Badge Exchange is a great way to earn coins, specifically by saving up for the Pathfinders Crate which costs 3k badge points, not 2k. 6) Vehicle packs are really not worth the purchase unless they are at a significant discount, so I agree with you there. 7) If you're going to spend money on the game it should be in a Premium Subscription. I have another video that talks about that. 8) You can definitely make money on many of the games items, you just have to be patient and pay attention to the market changes. I have a market guide that explains the basics.
@@rasmuswittsell10 I agree, it is worth putting at least some money into this game, especially for the amount of replay value it has. I decided to make content for the game and eventually earned a promotional account with everything unlocked so I haven't spent anything since, but the flip side is they are getting free advertising now. 😂
@@TCS23 I appreciate your videos. My 8 yr old son is a huge fan of the game and there is so much he doesn't understand. I'm learning and teaching him from your videos. Thank you so much.
Well, I am nearly finished with a Market Guide for 2022, but it mainly covers how the market works and how to properly make trades. Maybe I'll do an updated video for market values of resources and see how they compare to this video. 🤔🙂
@@TCS23 That'd be dope, I'm seeing a lot of hate for this game recently like they can't even compete in the market because it takes too long and they need actual cash to get any parts they need. I personally have wanted to give this game a real chance but every time I come back it feels like the thing I want to build is further and further away lol.
I can't say off the top of my head. I'd have to test that and then compare it to the CPM earned from the other methods. Feel free to test it out and let us know the results!
i have noticed a difference in rewards in some modes depending on PS-score. in leviathan raid i get about 100 copper with minimum PS-score, but with 10000 PS i get about 160 copper. also i would like to add the type of raid greatly changes the amount awarded (steel cradle giving the least) you can see this at 7:25
Yeah, it's true. There are a lot of factors that will affect the outcome of these game modes. That's why I chose to set averages, and I also made sure to state some of those variables upfront 👉 1:00 Really, the list of things that could affect a players results is quite long: Power Score Your Skill Level Your Build Choices Teammates Skill Level Teammates Build Choices Market Prices Platform Prices Daily Fuel Bonus Paid Subscription Raid Game Modes Completion Times Individual Experience Unforseen Circumstances Even if I COULD cover all those elements, I would still be editing that video to this day! 😮💨
only leviathan raids scale the material that depends on the Ps the rest if you scale all you do is more harder for you and your team and you get the same amount of material does not matter 100k ps or 5k ps
There is a flaw with your methodology for PvP matches, you're more skilled than the average player. The average player will have 50/50 win/losses, not 90% wins (and will frequently not survive wins). Also, the weekly challenge rewards will skew rewards slightly towards doing different modes (although especially towards hard raids), but generally this depends on how hard you grind. Still. The engineer currency (whatever its called) adds about 5 coins of value per hard raid per week (for the first 10 and 10 raids you do).
I agree with you. Like I mentioned in the video, there are a lot of variables to consider, so no one will come up with exactly the same values. ENGINEER BADGES, PLAYER SKILL LEVEL, COUPONS, DEFEAT REWARDS, PLATFORM MARKET PRICES... the list of factors is lengthy. I had to set the bar somewhere! 🤷
You forgot to mention flipping purples or legendary is also a great way to make money. The market is also different between consoles as well(aka PCs market is cheaper than Xbox’s and ps4s) copper by the 100 are about 10 to 11 coins every hundred while scrap is about 14 to 15 coins every 100
I was trying to stick with the game modes that are the most accessible for new players. Most new players don't have that kind of money to be flipping top tier items. Regarding your second point, platform market prices are different for sure, as well as a long list of other factors that can change the values of these game modes. It was a fun project though, and I'm glad I was able to finish it. Thanks for commenting!
I believe batteries will move up on your list since 100 units will be required to craft epics after next patch. Xbox market price has almost doubled in value
Good to know! Yeah, like I mentioned in the video: "there were a lot of variables involved." At least we have something to gauge now. Thanks for the info!
Well, it does show the finish times for my losses, so if you're eager enough you can do some more calculations of your own and see what the results are. 🤷
Thanks for your input and for subbing! Have you noticed a significant increase in resources from the FRONTIER DEFENSE raid? I haven't picked up on that.
I'm actually not very competent with math myself, but I've always been fascinated by it. So, making these videos actually help me to remember the process. 😄
I agree, STEEL CRADLE raids are one of the toughest to beat, especially with low tier weapons. It was hard to balance all the variables in determining coin values for each game mode. I plan on making a raid guide for STEEL CRADLE as well as all the others, so hopefully that will make up for it. 🤷
Ok so since i started playing crossout about 4mnths ago im doing scrap missions and plastic raids only and at that time by my calculation plastic in frontier def was the most valuable... Maybe if u count plastic prices whn they r high(36-40 for 100) and do plastic on frontier def(which gives 24 avg per match) it will be the most profitable raid... 🤔Btw really informative video gg
Thanks man! Yeah, someone else mentioned FRONTIER DEFENSE as the best value, but there's a challenge with that. As far as I know, all raid game types (F. Defense, S. Cradle, etc) rotate between EASY - HARD difficulty every (correction: hour) So, waiting for only FRONTIER DEFENSE - HARD RAID FOR PLASTIC means passing up a lot of money that could be had in the meantime. So many variables! 🤷
@@TCS23 ya raids change every 1hr,and in a week i get to play frontier def 4days rest 3 i dont see thm whn i play so yeah thats a sas thing bt nothing to do

Scrap, wires and batteries should have the same time, since the queue/MM for all of these 3 are the same, so here you are putting scrap into a disadvantage (going from 0,77 to 0,96) making it the best one
Good point. Have you tried testing it out? I'm curious to know what you come up with.
@@TCS23 Yes, it has been proven, that if one person queues for scrap and another one for wires they are thrown into the same match

There are 4 VERY important things you missed:
1. Daily and Weekly missions: you can get TONS of Scrap just for playing normally basically, also if you do 8 wins for scrap, 10 wins for Wires, 12 wins for Batteries and 1 other challange you can get Epic container every few weeks, which is worth 300 coins.
Also 42 daily missions award you Mining Container which you should sell for around ~35 coins (never sell at the end of week it is cheapest then)

Your content is well made and informative, thank you for the tutorial
Thanks, I appreciate that! I have more videos on the way so stick around if you're interested. 🙂
I’m very happy this popped up in my recommended this is the first time I’ve ever seen you and you by far the most helpful out there especially since I just switched to pc.
Just saw that you only have 115 subscribers I’m surprised considering how most other Chanel’s are not very helpful like this one.
Thanks man, I really appreciate these comments! I'm working on more content, so stick around if your interested. 🙂
Great advice, thanks for sharing!
amazing video, can't believe how underrated you are!
Thanks for the support!
This channel is sooo underrated! Keep up the work!
Thanks bro!
@@TCS23 Benefited*
Great video, thanks for confirming my value suspicions! I also consider the value of badges from weekly missions, since exchanging badges can net you a decent amount of coins every now and then (haven't seen your video on that yet, but I've run the numbers there myself). For that reason I usually maximize my daily free fuel usage in raids by doing 2 Hard Electronics and 2 Normal Plastic for five days, then doing 5 normal copper raids for the remaining two days; netting 800 badges per week on raids if you don't fail any.
Nice! Sounds like you have a good system going. Keep up the grind!
Great guid thankyou for confirming. It's worth mentioning this is the PC marketplace, the prices between platforms are wildly different but for the most part their value in relation to eachother stays the same.
Yes, that's a good point, thanks for sharing. Lots of factors involved, but I had to start somewhere!
this video, just like all the things in the world, isn't perfect, but i can surely tell that a lot of time went into this and i found this information to be very useful, even though, i have been playing crossout for almost 3 years now. good work, like button for sure.
Exactly.
You did your homework, I respect that.
Thanks man. Hopefully you got my reply to your original post. 🙂
Great video man. I'm amazed at all the crossout players that watch and commented. I'll definitely take this video into consideration when I get the chance to play tomorrow. Keep it up
Hey man, thanks for the feedback! I try to reply to all comments but some slip through the cracks. Sorry about that. 🤦
The grind makes the game unironically feels like it’s made by Tencent or EA.
In addition to getting 200 fuel a day, you also earn scrap and badges for completing the daily and weekly challenges. Badges can be traded in for any resource so basically you should follow the challenges that give the most reward first. (Hard raids then batteries then medium raids, wires and so on. And make sure to complete your dailies)
Once you've completed all challenges for the week you can use this guide to keep grinding.
Awesome, sounds like a solid strategy. 😎
Thank you for taking the time to create this video!
Hey, that's great that you worked out the numbers on Xbox! Feel free to post them in the comments if you want. 🙂
Hey @tcs23 do you have an updated sheet that has the details for the equipment crates..

I appreciate you sharing it with all of us. I’m on Xbox but is the same, electronics are the big deal. 50% bonus from premium lifts the reward even higher. 100 electronics are about 200 coins on Xbox.

You're welcome! I've been curious myself for some time now. I'm just glad it's finished. 😅
It’s a great baseline but just keep in mind that prices change constantly on the market, scrap generally tends to be winner in terms of profit these days but it all depends what people are crafting. Check the resource costs on CrossoutDB to find what’s currently most expensive.
@@rogerp.2442 been playing crossout for 3 years so i know that but still thanks for info.
What i do is pay close attention to many parts on the market, waiting for a drop. When there is a good deal, invest invest invest. When the price goes back up again, sell sell sell. Great with resources.
I stopped crafting and i went from 400 coins a week to 2k. Definitely worth
Hard to do with limited time, the market coridours really said "fuck you" to the biggest part of that

Sweet! You're exactly the kind of person I am hoping to reach. Glad I could help, and stay tuned for more content!
you could always just build the highest profitable purple item and just buy all the cyan parts needed straight out the market, do this for both factions at the same time and that's 200 coins made in passive time of 6 hours, and then grind scrap and copper also grind badges and then trade them in for copper as well
Very thorough. Great guide man
Thanks for the feedback! 🙂👍
Actually a fantastic video, well done! Thanks for the info!
Thanks for the positive feedback. 🙂
The raids also use gasoline that you can't sell so use all of it every day
Great point! I mentioned that in my 21 tips video, so thanks for the reminder!
Also, not sure why you deducted fuel price on rad earnings when the first 200 fuel is freely given and cannot be sold?
@@NELLNICK Yeah, it's just another variable that I chose not to include. 200 fuel is gone in a flash especially if you're doing Hard raids. I would consider the daily fuel as more of a free bonus. And chances are, if you're playing raids, you're spending a lot more than 200 fuel in a day.
Good vid keep it up I'm on ps4 and still watched till the end maybe I'll have to do the math on console and post it
Thanks! Yeah, that would be nice to compare the two markets.
Thanks for the hard work, for all of us.

Sure thing, happy to help. I have other XO guide videos on my channel too if you're interested. 🙂
@@TCS23 I I'll check them out for sure. The help is much appreciated.
Something I feel was left out and should be taken into consideration is raids are proportional to how well you score, i.e. how many enemies you destroy. Even though you earn score just for completing objectives you earn it from also destroying enemies. That means that raids are much less reliable sources of income.
Otherwise, great video man!
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!
Good job.
Thanks! It's been enjoyable seeing so many players benefit from this content. I'm glad it made sense. 😂
Dont forget that not all raids gove the same reward total
Frontier defense is easily the best raid to do as you can earm waaay more than any other raid and steel cradle is the worst raid to do

This actually helped a lot. Thanks!
Awesome! And thanks for subbing! More content is on the way. 🙂
Love your videos keep up the good work 👍👍
Thanks! It means a lot. 🙂
so here we considering the earnings based on the market selling price ? so we don't have to create our own selling price right?
Correct, resource prices on the Market constantly fluctuate, so the value of each game mode will change as well.
Yea it is still slightly simplified cuz there are things like time spending in queues
But i have a question, doesnt it more profitable to do 3 leviathan raids for a total time of 7:36 and get 2,94$ instead of 1 for electronics? In matters of time/money. Besides you have free fuel and the raid costs less amount of fuel than electronics.
ffs im so dumb to misunderstand that the info is coins per minute
Hey man, sorry for the late reply, TH-cam doesn't always notify you of everyone's comments. Yeah, I haven't watched this video in awhile since I've been working on other projects, but you are correct about the last screen displaying coins per minute. 🙂
Every company ever: hire this man
Ha! You're too kind. I literally just laughed out loud. 😂
OH YEAH OHVEYVV YEAH
Also doing hard raids for 500 badges is very worth it, and once you get 3k badges then you can buy an epic container and sell it for 330 coins,
For sure, I made a separate video on the Badge Exchange that shows more ways to earn money too.
They need it for a quest and maybe the loss isn't so bad so they feel it's worth it for the quest
I get 40-45 plastic for medium frontier defence. Thats around 13-14 coins for a 10 minute game with free daily fuel.
Nice! Great work my friend. 🙂

@@TCS23 u can do perimeter breach in 3.30 mint and get 22-28 per raid
@@marcinpop2659 Results may vary. 🤷
1. First 200 fuel is "free" and unsellable, use or lose it. 2. Different versions of Raids give different reward amounts. Raid selection counts beyond "copper, plastic or electronics."
Just fyi the "perimeter defense" missions give more than others but they do take longer

What's the best for console PS4?
One thing you didnt take into account was the match making time. It seems that pvp takes longer to find a match then raids (pve). You should take into account the expected amount of matches you can beat in an hour instead the time it takes to beat a match.
Edit: I now realize why he didn't, switch your server to Russia and matchmaking is instant, used be about 4 minutes now its 5 seconds
Yeah, the wait times can vary greatly due to server region and PS ranking. It's definitely something that needs to be individually factored in.
What this doesn't take Into note is the badges earned and exchanged on the badge exchange
Yeah, I made a separate video on the Badge Exchange. 🙂

I didnt know raids for plastic would rank that low to be honest and that missions for batteries would be higher than scrap? 😅

@@TCS23 nows a great time to make it lol i hope u take ur time

What should I do with my money though? What are the best weapons/builds?
Good question, I haven't played every weapon but I definitely have some favorites. All SHOTGUNS are solid weapons. I use MG13 EQUALIZERS for raids, and ICINERATORS for battles against Leviathans. PYRES with the DUSK cabin are really effective too.
Do you plan on making new videos with viable builds on different ratings?
Yes, I have plans to make more builds in different power scores. I'm nearly finished with a video on the BADGE EXCHANGE, so I should have that posted soon.
Perhaps hardest plastic raid is earning the most? 🤔
Nice Video but how about selling Blue and Green (special) weapons and modules
Good suggestion. There are certainly more ways to make money for "free" in XO, and market trading is definitely one of them. I plan on making a video about the recently updated market so stay tuned for more content! 🙂
Not all raids are equal. Frontier defence offers the most return. The resource is not a mode....
It would've been better to have an average time for the three main missions and a separate one for patrols, because it is completed much faster.
Well, in terms of difficulty it's true, they are the same. However, they ARE different in terms of Power Score requirements. That alone would create a difference in player matchups. Factors like that create a change in final results.
What if you buy something and then you sell it for a higher price
Then you made a profit my friend! 😂
But seriously, I know what you're saying, that market tip is more about NOT using quick buy/sell option. I have a Market Guide in the works that will go a bit deeper into making a profit, so stay tuned if you're interested. 🙂
Made hundreds of coins off that #3 sticker when it first came out on my PS account. Still have a few in inventory. Raise Hell, Praise Dale.
What if you just buy a gun for 100 coins and sell it for 110
Then do that over and over untill you have the desired amount
@@prodkerstii By all means, if that works for you then don't let my advice stop you. 🙂
If anyone still comes here to read my sad comments to the dubious advise proposed in this video:
1: In every mission where you compete against living players, being a new player (noob, if you like) you cannot hope to win more than 50 % of encounters.
(However, in another video, TCS23 explains that the chance to get a better price by opening the crate and then selling the contents, is about 60%.)

@@TCS23 That'd be dope, I'm seeing a lot of hate for this game recently like they can't even compete in the market because it takes too long and they need actual cash to get any parts they need. Isnt it better to just grind for the resources needed to make, say, a blastoff or a vector and sell vectors?
I can't say off the top of my head. I'd have to test that and then compare it to the CPM earned from the other methods. Feel free to test it out and let us know the results!

only leviathan raids scale the material that depends on the Ps the rest if you scale all you do is more harder for you and your team and you get the same amount of material does not matter 100k ps or 5k ps
Nobody on server has 100% win rate.... Unless they have like 5 matches played (so they are not grinding)
Great video, but I lost faith in the calculations when you said you were just gonna ignore the fact that you can't win every pvp match....
It does not rly change the "best" mode, if he uses the same calc for every time, it does not matter
Well, it does show the finish times for my losses, so if you're eager enough you can do some more calculations of your own and see what the results are. 🤷
@@niemals2729 Potential for failure is a common variable.
@@DiabloEncarnate You dont get it, sorry. He just simplified the calculation.
@@niemals2729 Don't get what exactly?
Edit:. As it turns out I did understand.
As of the new battlepass, the new game mode introduces a way to get plastic without expending fuel and this may affect prices.
Ooh, that sounds intriguing. 🙂
If you want to earn the most money the best raid is frontier defense
Thanks for your input and for subbing! Have you noticed a significant increase in resources from the FRONTIER DEFENSE raid? I haven't picked up on that.
I know the creator is very understanded that i cant solve Math and cant understand
I'm actually not very competent with math myself, but I've always been fascinated by it. So, making these videos actually help me to remember the process. 😄
Only do the raid s wich says , Turrents can be use d for protection. You ll gain waaay more rec.
You should mention not to do the steel cradle raids since they give the least reward and are the hardest raids in the game.
@@TCS23 ya raids change every 1hr,and in a week i get to play frontier def 4days rest 3 i dont see thm whn i play so yeah thats a sas thing bt nothing to do
@@Rajdweep My biggest challenge now is finding time to make these videos and still grind for resources! Either way is rewarding. 🙂
@@TCS23 ya tru it takes alot of time to grind in this game, u r better off buying battle pass and premium if u have a good job for example
Right now the Ashen Ring event for the season provides Plastics for a reward. About eighteen or so from my own experiences.
Nice! Yeah this video is a little old so I'm not sure how that event would rank among the rest. The method of calculating it should be the same though. Let me know if you test it out. 🙂
