I was like maybe ten years old when I saw the theme to Dawson’s Creek. I never understood the show and thought it was boring at that age, but I’m watching it now and it’s like diving back into part of my childhood that I never knew. It’s interesting watching old things with new lenses.

I was in line to see this filming but it started later than was originally said and I had to leave to play a gig, I’m sad I missed it. I did get to see her at a small theater not long before this though, with Mark Brown on bass instead of Doug Wimbish. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen, she left everything on that stage.

Her hair was much shorter and she was wearing a purple half top. I think I saw somewhere that this is video is actually from HRL 2001 where she was sharing the bill with Meredith Brooks.
