I was in line to see this filming but it started later than was originally said and I had to leave to play a gig, I’m sad I missed it. I did get to see her at a small theater not long before this though, with Mark Brown on bass instead of Doug Wimbish. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen, she left everything on that stage.

At first I was going to write a comment saying that this is not Hard Rock Live because this is not the one I've seen before. In 1997 she appeared on the show opening for Jewel. Her hair was much shorter and she was wearing a purple half top. I think I saw somewhere that this is video is actually from HRL 2001 where she was sharing the bill with Meredith Brooks.

I'm trying to follow the logic of the song. If the guy is being forced to go to war, then he has no option to stay. Yet it sounds like she's forcing him to make a choice about going to war or staying home.
