The film features mutants that were failed specimens. The D-rex in the trailer being one, apparently having an extra set of massive arms along with the regular T-rex ones.

I have rewatched the trailer twice I can't believe they going back to the original island where it all started
I'm pretty sure they are not, they are going to a island that made the dinosaurs for the original park, they said there was dinosaurs here deemed to dangerous for the park so it's a different place

Maybe overhyped myself. I was hoping for them to showcase the more darker tone weve been heaing about. Instead we got whimsical island adventure with a surprise 3rd island where they made dinos??? The new mutated dino is a mix of the trolls from the hobbit movie and the Cloverfield alien. Im still hyped, music is everythiing so maybe the next trailer will deliver that horror factor and seperate it from the Pratt-astraphy of the last trilogy. AS hateful as this sounds I do love jP. The trailer just didnt hit like I wanted it too.
I mean... Every horror story about dinosaurs is always on an island or isolated and abandoned place full of dinos on the loose, whether during the day or at night, so I think you were expecting a Turok
@Still.the.best.2021 it's that it's set on an island. It's the fact that sorna was the island they made dinosaurs before moving them to nublar. I know sorna was destroyed but saying they made dinos on this new island seems outta nowhere.
