    Hands down highly recommend! Ive done 3 other schools and CSU is amazing for adult learners. Ive never been charged for credit evaluation or transfers. I did pay a small fee to switch my track though. I think it was $25. I used sophia pretty late but still transferred about 20 credits. My advisor was a huge help! Getting into my major classes early was also incredibly motivating and helped me actually enjoy school. Almost everyone I know graduated with a 3.5 or above.

    I’m in the last 8 weeks of class for my Associates and I love CSU! I have spent right at $30k on my degree and part of that $30k went to Post and they wouldn’t transfer my credits to CSU so that was a waste of time and money. After this term, I’m already set to start on my Bachelor’s. Highly recommend!!

    I’m actually 75 credits in with them right now following your videos I transferred 69 credits in! 60 from Sophia and 9 from work certificates. My only issue is that they only allow 3 classes per 8 week term. When I started watching your videos I liked the schools but knew CSU had the degree I wanted. So I went there transferred all the Sophia and now my company is reimbursing my tuition so technically I’ll end up paying 300 for my bachelor’s

      Keep at it. That number steadily rises and the next thing you know you’re at commencement.

      I'm actually taking 4 classes per term for the first time ever. You need a gpa above 3.0 and advisor approval but you can do it! Talk to your advisor next term

    Im glad you did a video on CSU. Its a great fully online college. Can you review University of Arkansas Grantham? They are nationally accredited, but appears to be a good fully online college. They even give you a brand new laptop after completing the first course I believe. Check them out.

      Any school giving bonus items like laptops is one I would stay away from. Historically predatory schools used to do that often. Also, it’s almost never worth it to attend a nationally accredited school, go for regional. You got this!

    Just gradated on 10/22 from CSU and I couldn't be more happier! Plus, I transferred majority of my Sophia credits #BBA

    Hi Dr. Cliff,
    Awesome info on CSU!
    After hearing your review,
    I want to ask you if CSU is right up there with UMPI,
    if you transfer in the 75% of credits from Sophia?
    Thank you!!!

    • @CollegeHacked
      @CollegeHacked  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Not quite, mostly just because of their lack of acceptance of the other platforms like Study and Straighterline. But it’s not super far away!

    I am still going through with my math degree at SNHU, but I was curious about this school when weighing my options. Hope this helps someone & thank you for all the information you give College Hacked!

    I did some of the leg work for everyone else on the Sophia transfer credits. I went through and matched the class syllabus’s and started approval on about 5 classes. Otherwise they would have gone to electives.

      @ Self serving interest at the time. Each class took me about 3 - 5 hours to cross examine and compare materials. Then present that information in a report. It was a huge bonus to see those classes become listed as suitable substitutions.

    I studied at both UOP and CSU. The only commonality between the two is the for profit status.
    CSU was a positive experience and I learned new concepts from every class. UOP taught me about student debt.

    Last year I received my degree from them in Business after transferring in 89 credits from Sophia and the Military.

    Great review! I noticed Saylor Academy now offers graduate level business classes. Any idea if CSU (or any other college) accepts Saylor credits as part of their MBA programs? Potentially a game changer for someone looking for a cheap/fast MBA. Keep up the great work!

    • @CollegeHacked
      @CollegeHacked  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Saylor has a provisional license from the Florida Department of Education Commission For Independent Education to offer one degree, the MBA. It's been licensed since October 17, 2022. I’ve never seen any schools accept those courses; at the grad level you generally only see RA credits transfer.

    I found an all online college called Empire State University that's part of the SUNY school system. I think it would be a great university to review.

    Thanks to your channel, I was able to fast-track an associate’s degree through Pierpont, and now I’m close to finishing my bachelor’s! Originally, I planned on a Liberal Studies degree from UMPI, but I’m now shooting for one from Excelsior…
    I’m planning to teach English in Asia once I receive my degree. I was a missionary there for a year and a half already, so I’m familiar…
    By the way, I’ve heard some universities actually let you NAME your Liberal Studies degree?! have you heard about this?

    • @CollegeHacked
      @CollegeHacked  วันที่ผ่านมา

      So glad we could help and congrats! 😄 I have heard of naming your degree, but only mythical whispers of it. From the rumors, you usually have to present a rationale and defense for your title in front of a committee. 🤯🤘🏼

    What school would you recommend for hackable Computer Science Bachelors? Looks like WGU revamped their BSCS and not as hackable

    • @CollegeHacked
      @CollegeHacked  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      They did indeed. Depending on your background, WGU could still be a good choice. Next best hackability wise is TESU, I’d say.

      Pay to win places like University of Phoenix. Although I did a semester at UoP and CSU has a MUCH higher academic standard. With UoP I’d just turn in what I thought was trash and get an A. At CSU I’d turn in what I thought was an A and get a B. And then the instructor would explain what s/he wanted to see for an A. It’s real work, unlike UoP.

    • @RabbiJesus
      @RabbiJesus 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@petespiak9627 to me, all I had to do was show up and turn in something. Which is more than other people were doing, and I presumed they passed as well. Which is why I don’t believe UoP is regionally accredited any longer. CSU on the other hand will make you earn your degree.
