The Mirador del Balcón viewpoint hangs over the cliff
This spectacular viewpoint is located on the westernmost point of Gran Canaria, above a vertical cliff plunging into the blue of the Atlantic. From here, you can perfectly see the "dragon's tail", a wall of coastal cliffs with peaks forming a zigzag, reminiscent of a mythological monster. Looking towards the land, you can see the Barranco La Arena gorge and the wide green valleys of the municipality of La Aldea de San Nicolás.

The stopover with information boards on the GC-200 road is a must-see on the island tour. Each visitor should descend the stone steps to the suspended vantage point, which names the vantage point as a balcony.
