As BA crew it was so nice to hear your comments about my colleagues, that’s why I love this job, the people you meet are always different and it’s very nice to get to know them. I’m so glad you got to experience our first class during the hop to Heathrow, I still haven’t managed to operate on the 787 yet even after being trained a year, COVID stopped it, can’t wait to be seeing that London approach very soon, safe travels to you.
I`m glad that someone else appreciates BA crew. I have also always had positive experiences with them.
As a former BA crew member it's nice to be liked. Sadly there are still too many passengers that treat you like shit
@@btnbiker I've had nothing but great experiences with BA crew flying within Europe. I always look forward to being on board! I'm sorry some people are awful, I find that in my job too and there's just no need.
I use BA business class regularly, South America to Europe and never have experienced service that is less than excellent. Looking forward to travelling again next year .

I'm a purist when it comes to coffee. I remember liking the smell of coffee when I was a youngster but only actually liking my first taste when we flew in a private plane into Palm Springs (a grass runway at the time) and had lunch at the restaurant there. This must have been in the mid '50s. My father knew someone who had Piper twin. For a 10-year old boy this was like a magic carpet ride. At the restaurant the only thing I remember was the taste of German chocolate cake and coffee from one of those little glass carafes with the black ribbed heat proof grips: all new to me. From then on, black coffee was the only way I would drink it. And, I became a little particular about the type of coffee I preferred. Now that I'm approaching old age, I'm settling into Columbian full city roast as my regular brew. Black of course.
So on my trip of a lifetime Seattle to London then on to Delhi and Mumbai (all on BA) we had the most absolutely delightful crew in Business Class. They went out of their way to take us to the back galley and show us the northern lights which we had never seen in our entire lives. They also gave us extra amenity kits so we had souvenirs for friends back home. Loved it! And Josh I’m totally team “can I get some coffee with my milk”! So I totally agree.
Black coffee for me. Once in a while I’ll add a little Bailey’s 👍

Omg I've stayed in that hotel 3 times for when I was on layover with work it's such an amazing hotel.. Got great pictures of the 747 from my window, up in the sky bar and up close its huge.. Highly recommended that hotel its got everything you needed in there.. Swimming pool, bars, places to eat, gym, own cinema and the breakfast is one of the best I've had

Must agree with you on BA. We flew with them August last year from Toronto to Cyprus via Heathrow. The inflight service was exceptional
Flying BA first class on a 787 this coming June, Seattle to Heathrow. Only eight seats in first--should be great fun!
I am very interested in Josh's variety of accents: basically I can hear Australian, but it is combined with German vowels, together with some US pronunciations as well. I had no idea that the Australian accent together with German could sound so appealling! He also pronouces the a in words (like staff, cast, past etc.) in a truly English way!! wow how interesting is his voice. Love his presentations.
So am I. I was immediately and pleasantly struck by that blend of accents, since I happened to view his videos.

Great enjoyable video as always! Such a pleasure to fly intra-european this way! I agree with you, BA's crews are amazing! No doubt the best within Europe. Coffee: always black, no sugar. It is one of those flavours that take a time to enjoy, but once you do it is impossible to go back!!

Mid august I flew with Lufthansa in Business Class to Lisbon and the service was a lot better than what you have shown here - even on on the short 50 min. first leg from BRE to FRA.

Heaven forbid that flight attendant in your flashback was basically sitting on your bed and propositioning you! I would have complained to the manager to get upgraded to first class lol!
I live in London so I fly BA a lot. I have only ever had one bad crew member. I was in premium economy from JNB-LHR. I was coming back from the bathroom and my family was all asleep so I had to climb on the armrests to get to my seat. I do this all the time when my neighbours (only if it is someone I know) are asleep. The crew member snapped at me like I opened the emergency exit at 38000 feet. On the same flight my mother’s IFE screen didn’t work and she refused to reset it because “it was night time anyways” Other than that all the crews on BA are fantastic.
I drink pure black scorching hot coffee. I used to LOVE more milk and sugar, but I've grown to appreciate it in it's pure form!

We were lucky enough to fly BA First Class to Delhi last year. The food was amazing and the crew, as you said, are just so friendly. The Business Class seat is awful especially if you are next to the aisle. The space is very narrow and the only storage is the small drawer down at floor level. I made up my bed and then took off my glasses. The only place to put them is in the drawer. So the bed had be turned into a seat again so I could store my glasses. I hope they get the new layout in Business Class soon. Safe travels Josh😎😎🏴

Years ago.. I always used to fly Thai First Class. From LHR to AMS; on their 747-400s.
Beautiful flight, lovely food. ☺️ Black coffee i can drink as long there is sugar in it, some coffees are better black.
Never flown first class, only been flying about 3 times to Uk from Billund in Denmark. Maybe something to try in the future.
So glad others can make content. Being in Australia we're not allowed to (for good reason, 100% understand). Nice to see how the rest of the planet is chugging along 💕

I took lufthansa first class in europe, not the same level as British airways base on your video, but still was excellent, I had exceptionnel service on lufthansa. One day , will need to try british airways !
Josh I believe the tables are changing tables not nursing tables. Changing tables are used to change diapers. 🤷🏼♀️

The Business Class in BA 787 its just OK for an European flight and terrible narrow and with a lack of oxygen for a 10 hrs flight (Long Haul). They don't use the 787 for European flights, they use A320, A319 most of the time. Their First Class also its just OK for an Long Haul flight, even is comfortable, it looks a Business Class of any other asian or European carrier. British Airways as well as Lufthansa are outdated in their Business Class product and BA has to make changes in their FC product.

Oh yes, I'm a bit peculiar, I drink my coffee either black one sugar, or very white no sugar.
Only exception is with double or whipped cream, then one sugar too. Reminds me too much of my youth and christmas!

That Business Class seat is awesome for a short flight but not so great long haul its just not comfortable. Fantastic you got to sit in First Class, what a treat. The snack box was absolutely perfect for the flight and it made total sense, fresh sandwhich, dessert and nuts 👍 Just curious if you might know are you still able to do dietary requirements request with Airlines these days given its a pre packaged situation? Hope you might be able to find out. Cheers.

Hi Josh,
Very much an ardent fan of your unbiased reviews. I would like to share my experience with BA. I have travelled with BA between USA, UK and India several times in economy and premium economy cabins. Even though it is one of the biggest airline and pioneers in many ways than one, I have had some issues with them. Following are some of my observations:
The good:
1. The food: ALWAYS perfect and really good for any long haul flight.
2. On time performance: BANG ON!
3. Entertainment: Pretty decent.
And here goes the bad. It is a long list and I hope BA wouldn't reprimand me on that :P :
1. Aircrafts: I understand that BA is very old but so are the cabins on some of their wide bodies. I was on one of their 747s between BOM-LHR and it was almost a flight from hell. Given they operate 2/3 daily flights on that route, one would imagine they would have decent service on that route and the entertainment was just worst. In economy, I got a super small old school screen which kept switching between color and black and white. Upon requesting for a change, I was told to not move my seats. This was way before the pandemic (September 2019).
2. Business class seat selection: You pointed it right, the business class for international sector does stand back in terms of ranking. Also, they do charge you to select seats in business class which I honestly think is a very cocky move by BA. They really need to buck up and try to compete with other airlines at least in terms of business class.
3. The crew: I know you are a fan of their crew and I have had good experience with them but between the USA-UK sector. I was horrified with certain experiences (such as mentioned above) on the India-UK sector. The couldn't care less.
I will be flying on their business class early next year between the three continents as mentioned as I have to use my travel credits and I am hoping the service will be better. I will be taking following flights:
SEA-PHL - AA - A321
PHL-LHR - BA - A350-1000
LHR-BOM - BA - 787-9
BOM-LHR - BA - 787-8
LHR-SEA - BA - 787-10
I am hoping I will have a good experience as I chose those flights to try out most of their new wide body fleet.
