These packs were gifts for people who bought the VIP package and attended the VIP party at The National. Gold packs resell in the $75 range and contains 2 cards per pack (boxes contain 150 packs plus a VIP Gems box and a Sparkle pack). Honestly they should do 4 cards a pack. Plus they should have way more autographs! See Card Collector 2 open 30 packs the other day and not a single autograph! Their's a reason why they didn't bring these to the show. For price point nothing to write home about.

I want to see a peacock mantis Shrimp pattern … really they should take a few teams, starting with the oldest ones and do like a team logo parallel of sorts , maybe choose 4-5 teams a year with the least successful teams being the more common and the more storied franchises being the rarest with prints runs for the latter being out of how many titles they’ve won or finals/Super Bowls/World Series they’ve played in as a franchise … I mean think of all the options you could pull a Lebron lakers card with a heat or cavs parallel attached to it or any Celtic could have an SSSP with a lakers pattern, maybe get a Judge with a Red Sox’s or Orioles pattern … that way a color match would actually be a true color match and only available for a certain group of players each year but they have to change the teams every year using a different one from each division or conference every year restarting the cycle every what 6 years or so …
Thing of how pumped you would be for the years they released grizzly and Yankees patterns
Also instead of flooding product with retired vets and worthless autos of players from the last you have to fill those spots with retired players from the teams who have the parallels in that year and you of course use superstar and hall of famers from those teams past but you also throw in fan favorites old draft busts, both under and over rated players as well as obscure lesser known long time bench and roll players. That way if you get a retired star or hall of famer card or parallel it’ll hold more prestige because the product won’t be full of just great players from the past that should be celebrated but are treated as filler because they have more cards now then when they played ..
If you only had a chance to pull Larry bird cards, autos, memorabilia and color once every 5 or 6 years then you better believe that would make pulling something like that very special cause it’s not anymore, I mean pulling a magic or bird auto should be super special but when it happens but do to the state of the hobby when we pull an auto of one of the greats (unless is some sort of SSSSP ) deep down we all wish it were some sort of rc auto instead and it’s because we’ve been conditioned that way … the saddest part is that an unproven middle to late 1st round draft pick rc auto would more then likely sell for more then that magic or bird base auto and thats wrong but if you could only pull them twice a decade I guarantee they’d get the hobby respect they deserve

Thanks! I used to call them out a lot on issues years ago (that still exist today), so not a ton of love between both parties. I did know a guy there for a bit but he’s not there anymore. Overall I think it’s better now but not to the point that we’d do any collabs or partnerships (I have asked and not much success)

Lol on the 3 of the /199 Ronaldos. I was in a break a couple years ago and had the Washington Nationals. Breaker opened 6 Quick Pitch Prizm boxes and I got 3 red Juan Soto /199. Essentially 1.5% of the total pop from one 6 box break.
They use to call me Marino when I was young. I love all his stuff
After waiting over a year and a half with no replies for one redemption, I requested a replacement card for my next redemption after the first (not sure of what the total is) 90-120 days passed... Miraculously, the card suddenly was being shipped. Because Panini doesn't want to give you your cards.
Also, they created points to replaced hits. That's bad enough. But then if you redeem your points, you have to pay shipping to get the cards your points bought. That's just scumbag behavior from a company. They rob you of a hit and then charge you to get the crappy card your points buy. I will never buy panini products now. I'm mostly into baseball, so it isn't really much of a loss outside of Diamond Kings, which is a great cheap way to chase some legendary player relic cards, and Donruss, which has been a very fun rip for the past few years.
Cool video. These packs are not worth $70/$80 each. With two cards per pack, it would have been nice if you read both players.

Good point, I didn’t think about that. The event last year (NFT party) was at my hotel so someone I knew said they might be able to get me in. Went to the entrance to the pool area where they were holding the event but I left shortly after bcuz it seemed it would be tough and a bother to ask my guy to get me in to the big pool/party area where the actually party and festivities were going down. You needed an actual ticket to go there I think. So I guess I technically attended but couldn’t get in to the actual area where everything was going down and was only there for a bit before leaving to get dinner instead
For reviews, it was just 1 guy I knew who I asked and he said it was cool to open for a preview if I was able to get the boxes in early but he doesn’t work there anymore unfortunately

Can someone please educate me on the National packs. Would you rather have a low numbered prizm or a 1/1 from the National or say optic or panini prizm. I'm confused in terms of value can someone help me out. Would a 1/1 national prizm hold the same value as an optic 1/1 or a Panini Prizm 1/1 not from that national. I would assume the national stuff would command more money, any thoughts
These are not worth 12 a pack let alone 75... and I promise you packster didn't pay anywhere near that lol. This is one of those "just producing" more cards with no value situations. Watch everyone race to get rid of them. (Ie put them in overpriced breaks and pretend like they are rare / nice) shit is silly. I'm pretty sure the people who have been in the hobby for an extended period of time see these for what they are... but i do feel bad for the new people that are just learning the ropes. "You could hit a 1/1" of a manufactured napkin patch lmao. Silly stuff.

Word is you got these packs. Weighed them on digital scale. Took all the ones that weight different than the ones containing regular cardboard cards and your selling the packs with regular cardboard cards on eBay.
