I'm not the one who made this, BannedLagiacrus is, hence the link to their twitter page at the very bottom of the comment. I'm just spreading the info to many Mizutsune theme videos on youtube. The true effort of mine is from copy and pasting the original tweet(s) one by one from BannedLagiacrus first to other plattform, once it's done, then I proceed to spread it accordingly depending on what monster the information talks about. Thus, you'll find this very same comment in another Mizutsune related video(s). But I often avoid to spread it on gameplay videos.
I really hope that the reason for such small variety across monsters in MHW (and Iceborne) is due to new engine and graphical fidelity jump and that's why porting assets from previous games (animation, models, skeletons even) just wasn't an option, considering high quality of 5th gen's title. If so, next game for home consoles (PS5, XBOX Series X) and maybe PC port will have many assets ready, so most of the work will be spent on (re)creating new monster types.
Yeh, Mizutsune wouldn't be impressed at all by Glavenus. Astalos, on the other hand, would wreck its face. Glavenus would tear Gammoth to bits, while Gammoth would crush Astalos.
Rise was my introduction to the franchise, I remember beating this guy in the demo after almost 45 minutes and not liking him at first, I take it back! Definitely one of my favourite monsters and his music slaps
Same story here. Rise was my first MH, and I remember hating him in the demo, too. I couldn't understand how he was just sliding across the ground while in what looked like a stationary stance, whilst also sweeping the whole area with Hydro Beam. Then I started to learn his patterns. I noticed that the green bubbles actually healed me. I got better and started appreciating the monster fights. I don't even remember who the Easy Difficulty monster was in the demo, but I definitely remember Mizu as the Medium Difficulty. I tried fighting Magnamalo twice before figuring out my skill level wasn't good enough yet. Then the game came out and I moved on to that.
My first hunt on this monster was a tad tough, I had one other person an there palico, but all they did was go the gathering spots. So I pretty much solo killed this monster an it... was... satisfying

You know what I realized? I’m starting to see a bit of a trend here… iceborne adds glav, rise adds mizu… do you think daybreak will bring back either gammoth or astalos back into the modern monster hunter? I would totally love to hunt astalos and potentially his deviant again!
I hope we get all of the Fated Four in Monster Hunter 6 and that Deviants return and that Violet Mizutsune and Acidic Glavenus also return and that Astalos and Gammoth also get a Sub or Rare Species.
when people say that she couldn't be in iceborne i always roll my eyes there are plenty of water like areas in mhw she could definitely work, and if you say what map? two come to mind immediately guiding lands coral highlands boom bois if you want evidence Mizutsune could live in tzitzi ya ku's territory and sleep in the hidden section of the coral highlands
I remember in my playthrough, more than any monster, I always couldnt help but feel I was bothering one particular Mizutsune whenever I fought it, instead of hunting a race of them, and the burning enmity of this beast at constantly being disturbed caused it to fight back whenever it saw me. I began to name him Bubbles, which probably did not help matters. In other words, Bubbles thought me a Dishonorabu Samurai and took every opportunity he could to hit me with the Stupid Brush, and paint me a fool.
They probably don’t have a good place for him to be. The coral highlands and elder’s recess don’t have enough water areas and he’s not exactly built for the terrain there. He doesn’t fit in the rotten vale, there’s like two areas in the wildspire that he might fit in, but it would be strange seeing him in a desert. That basically leaves the forest
I actually like the new vocals it really fits the theme my only real problem with the new version is that the orchestra isn't as bombastic as it is here.
This is probably one of my favorites, because there’s little to no downtime in it. I’m never waiting for a particular part. I could listen to this on loop for a long time and not get tired of it.
So THAT'S what drew me to this particular theme...
Ninten-Drew Same here, every part is just so great, the only parts that I would say are the best are 0:53 up to 1:15 but even then it’s only slightly.

"Normally, its fur is stiff and hard, but it becomes silky soft like a brush once it's soaked with the bubblefoam. Although the fur may seem like a strange adaptation, it's actually an essential tool for Mizutsune."
"While the irregular scales hold onto the bubblefoam that it secretes, the fur is used to produce and spread the bubbles throughout its environment. By rubbing its scales on its fur or on the ground, Mizutsune is capable of producing bubbles that it can use to its advantage."
"Besides using the bubblefoam to keep its skin moist, Mizutsune also uses the liquid for protection against threats as well as to capture prey."
"Mizutsune's head fins are very developed and sensitive due to receptors within them used for detecting moisture via its bubblefoam. It can sense the tiniest changes in its environment, including if something pops one of the many bubbles that it surrounds its territory with."
"Mizutsune is known to sleep within puddles of its secretions and lays its head down on the fluids to sense the tiniest changes in the humidity in its environment. Whether they be from predators or prey, if it senses a creature approaching, it'll wake up to see what disturbed it."
Click on the link to view: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1328112253879652352?s=20 )
"If a predator has awakened it, Mizutsune will spread the bubblefoam around its enemy and entangle its attacker with its secretions as it dances around its threat's attacks. Once it's enemy is tired, Mizutsune will use its secretions to make a quick escape."
Click on link to view: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1328112289988407297?s=20 )
"Mizutsune prefers to avoid fights rather than engaging in pointless turf wars, and it knows that it can escape from a confrontation anytime it wants due to it having the bubblefoam. In some rare cases, if the individual is brave enough, a Mizutsune will face off against a threat."
"With the help of the fur that adorns its body, Mizutsune is capable of sliding on the bubblefoam and moving with lightning speed on land. The bubblefoam reduces friction on the ground, making it hard for most creatures to stand or walk properly while facing off against Mizutsune."
Click on the link to view: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1328112305989701635?s=20 )
"While their movements are impaired by the bubblefoam, Mizutsune's aren't due to the hardened claws on its feet. It uses those claws as spikes to control its movements as it slides, preventing the monster from slipping around wildly as it outmaneuvers its opponents."
"It also uses those claws to groom its fur. Besides secreting the bubblefoam from glands found throughout its body, Mizutsune can also do breathe bubbles out of its mouth."
Click on the link to view: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1328112318555824128?s=20 )
"It uses its tongue to stimulate foam sacs that can be found under its eye to secrete the bubblefoam before it inflates the liquid in its mouth, changing it into a bubble."
"Mizutsune primarily preys upon fish and will sometimes feed on smaller monsters. Like snakes, it has recurved teeth used for holding down prey and can unhinge its jaws so it can swallow prey whole."
"Due to its diet, the bodily fluids of its prey will sometimes mix with the bubblefoam it produces, changing the color of its bubbles and giving them an additional property/effect. Some of these bubbles can heal wounds, while others can increase one's attack power."
"As mentioned above, Mizutsune isn't a very aggressive monster, preferring to avoid most fights. While usually calm, male Mizutsune (All of the Mizutsune we fight in-game are males) become extremely aggressive during the mating season, leading to unprovoked attacks on humans."
"Male Mizutsune are brightly colored and have large fins, while female Mizutsune have duller colors and smaller fins. The males are also capable of flushing blood into their fins, causing them to become red in color to reflect their emotions."
"During the mating season, a male Mizutsune pair up with females and help to care for the young. Instead of running from threats, he'll stand his ground against an enemy to protect both his territory and his family from danger. He'll leave once his young are old enough."
"Mizutsune's bubblefoam smells like flowers, and just a few drops of it can turn a swamp into a bubble bath. Its bubblefoam can also remove impurities and is used in religious rituals. Its tail prized for its supple fur and beautiful scales."

If only the Leviathan style monsters worked in MHW that way I could crush Mitzusune under a rock before yelling out, "SHIIIIIIIIZAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

@@dragumkirisute1998 Wildspire wastes has a swampy area in it. Around where Jyuratodus spawns.
@@BardianAngel That area just doesn't fit Mizutsune.
It's too "dirty" for a monster that basically produces soap.
Mizutsune has to be in Rise. Rise is going for a Japanese aesthetic and this track just oozes Asian vibes.

Yeh, Mizutsune wouldn't be impressed at all by Glavenus. Astalos, on the other hand, would wreck its face. Glavenus would tear Gammoth to bits, while Gammoth would crush Astalos.
I think everyone just shits on Gammoth he really is the weaker of the four

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate For Nintendo Switch 28 August 2018
At long last it’s finally here!
Monster Hunter Rise for Nintendo Switch 28 March 2021
Rise was my introduction to the franchise, I remember beating this guy in the demo after almost 45 minutes and not liking him at first, I take it back! Definitely one of my favourite monsters and his music slaps
*WHAP!* Not the only thing that slaps either.
I love the mizutsune ost is so beautiful and great amazing.
Deja vu mizutsune in rise
Oh mizu my bubbly cynodont. How happy I am to see you get a rare species
He basically has regular, soulseer, apex and Violet. I'm surprised to see how much love he's gotten.

The person who joined me collected resources, came to me to get few hits in, then he just left a few minutes before I killed the monster

"Name: Soulseer Mizutsune (天眼タマミツネ)
Title: Heavenly Flower That Blooms in Ignorance (無明に咲く天華)
Length: 2871.47cm
Order: Leviathan
?: Unknown
Suborder: Sea Beast Wyvern
Infraorder: Bubble Fox Wyvern
Family: Mizutsune
Habitats: M. Peaks, S. Pinnacle, P. Forest, Jungle"
"A Deviant of Mizutsune, Soulseer Mizutsune is an abnormally large individiual that has lost its eyesight completely. During a turf war with another monster, likely a Zinogre, its face was severely wounded and now this old Mizutsune is blind."
"Despite losing its eyesight, this Mizutsune has begun to rely on its other senses, especially its sense of touch, to navigate through its environment. Compared to a normal Mizutsune, most of its parts (Fins, claws, etc.) have developed uniquely over time, becoming more sensitive."
"Soulseer Mizutsune needs this added sensitivity since it sees its environment in a new way. Rather than relying on its eyes, Soulseer Mizutsune "sees" with the bubblefoam that it secretes from its body."
"A Mizutsune has receptors in its head fins that it uses to detect slight changes in the moisture in its habitat. It can easily detect if anything, whether it be predator or prey, pops one of the many bubbles that it leaves floating around its territory."
Click on the link to view: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1336811721172918272?s=20 )
"Like its brethren, Soulseer Mizutsune is known to sleep within puddles of its bubblefoam secretions and, if it senses a creature is approaching it, it'll wake up immediately to see what disturbs its slumber."
Click on the link to view: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1336706414249529344?s=20 )
"If a creature touches Soulseer Mizutsune's bubbles, the leviathan will instantly wake up and go into rage mode. While enraged, all of the fins on its body will become red, and its eyes will glow an eerie blue as water vapor leaks out of them."

"The monster's body temperature rises as its muscles tense up, causing the fluids around its eyes to evaporate.
Rumor says that the malice of an undying grudge burns within its closed eyes. Those it catches in its bubbles know the true meaning of its nickname, "Soulseer"."
"While a creature is covered in its bubbles, Soulseer knows the exact location of its enemy and will attack accordingly. Due to its larger size, Soulseer Mizutsune is slower than a normal Mizutsune though its attacks are more devastating."
"Compared to a normal Mizutsune, its claws have become larger and harder over time, making them deadly weapons. It uses them to help it effectively capture and kill prey."
Click on the link to view: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1336780880124080128?s=20 )
"From its greater size, Soulseer Mizutsune will sometimes violently slam its whole body on the ground to crush its enemies under its own weight. This backslam is quite similar to Zinogre's."
Click on the link to view: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1336785520379117570?s=20 )
"Soulseer Mizutsune's most shocking ability is the fact that it can breathe highly explosive blue bubbles from its mouth. Soulseer Mizutsune loves to eat fish, but it can only really catch large fish since it's blind and Burst Arowana are fairly big."
Click on the link to view: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1336788431142178817?s=20 )
"By feeding on Burst Arowana and mixing the components of its prey with its bubblefoam secretions, Soulseer Mizutsune is capable of breathing fiery bubbles at foes. These bubbles explode on impact, sending hunters flying in the air."
"Noticeably, the fur on Soulseer's front legs and tail are usually white. Mizutsune are known for grooming themselves often, keeping the fur on their body soft and purple, but Soulseer Mizutsune rarely ever does."
"Since this individual doesn't groom itself often, the fur on those parts of its body is extraordinarily hard. Rather than grooming for looks, Soulseer only grooms itself to increase its senses in combat."
Click on the link to view: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1336775176009048064?s=20 )
"Soulseer Mizutsune is known to cover the fur on its tail and front legs with secretions from its mouth, allowing it to sense the bubblefoam in its environment better."
Click on the link to view: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1336774698105851904?s=20 )
"Although covering those parts in secretions increases its sense, they also make its front legs and tail weaker to attacks for a short period of time. These secretions also contain components from its prey, which may increase the attack power of hunters."
Click on the link to view: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1336783594400837632?s=20 )
"Interestingly, unlike normal male Mizutsune, Soulseer Mizutsune doesn't become more aggressive during the breeding season. Due to it being blind, it never seeks out a mate and doesn't groom itself to appeal to females. Like Mizutsune, all Soulseer encountered in-game are male."
"The bubblefoam doesn't stay on its enemies forever, so it'll eventually lose track of its target. Once it can't find its enemy, it'll begin to wildly spread bubbles around the area to mark its opponent once again before continuing its onslaught."
Click on the link to view: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1336805755895214083?s=20 )
"Even if an enemy somehow avoids touching its bubbles, Soulseer Mizutsune can still sense if anything touches its body and will react accordingly."
Click on the link to view: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1336807272635277312?s=20 )
"If attacked while an aura of bubbles are around its body, Soulseer Mizutsune will immediately try to counter its enemy."
Click on the link to view: ( twitter.com/BannedDino/status/1336808483019051009?s=20 )
"One stroke of Soulseer's soft fur is enough to bring calm. Those who gaze upon Soulseer's polished scales will find their way once more, and those who touch its tail are captivated by its loveliness. Truly its tail is a priceless article."
