Correct and helpful trick to solve this
2n^(2)-5 where 'n' is the number of triangles in each side of triangle.
eg. 2×3^(2)-5= 2×9-5= 18-5= 13 (for triangle of three triangles in each side)
2×4^(2)-5= 2×16-5= 32-5= 27.
