why i have never heard of this talented young boy. it's not a question at all. because he has everything to show he is capable to perform Rafi Sahabs songs.
of course i have been listening Rafi's songs ever since i remember.
he is very close to Rafi Sahab's voice. the voice style and tone. very good.
You are absolutely right Mr Bejoy.Stage show is something different where you are in front of audience.This breaks the concentration.But even then the performance thus produced speaks many things about the artist.This man has been showing the ability of an outstanding singer for so many years.Some people give comment without understanding things in depth and this eventually effects the morale of the artist.We should behave responsibly while passing our comments.

Ofcourse Stage singing has its limitations... there are distractions on stage singing a song... plus the defects that's possible on Stage sound system... Its never comparable with Studio Recording.. ! But ANIL BAJPAI is a wonderful Singer.... !

I watched and compared this, original and by sonu nigam. Sonu nigam maintained same pitch. Anilji maintained similar voice with lower pitch. Any ways, I enjoyed all.

Rafi Sahab in so simple words is just "inomparable". Listen to His live singing ... He was always so close to His audience with always a more modulated, more sweet murkies & harkats and many a times with a different tempo than His own recorded film versions. And the audience always massively applauded His perfect control over the new modulations crafted by Him right on spot whenever He was live. A GENIUS like Him rarely takes a rebirth. Also it's much easier to copy than create a magic of one's own.
Anil is no doubt a good copier cum singer of Rafi Sahab songs but I always feel he has a completely different voice & tonal quality ( much much NASAL tone or tinge alike Mukesh Chand Mathur ) than Rafi's stereophonic perfectly equalised vocal tone.
Of course Rafi is incomparable. Of all singers including Sonu nigam anil is closest to rafi

cant compare Sonu and Honey sing. Honey sing is performing acts rather. Sonu Ji is best of all who sings Rafi's songs.
