Yeah you might have to configure a few things to get that right. Check to make sure the materials on your objects are set to how you need them!

I'm thinking it's got something to do with the order in layer. does it just go black all together? I think I could help you with a little more info

Check your backgrounds material and see if it's set to that 'lit default'

Hey maybe make sure you're using the 2D lights instead of the regular 1's, make sure you're materials are "lit". Try using the global light 2d and turn the intensity all the way down and everything should go dark if all is correct!
