      @Ishana ishana that's right sir but you need huge capital to get started up or you'd be a landlord to make money

      @@stevestone8740 you don't really need huge capital to start investing in real estate. I got started with with a little less than 20k. Right now I have a units in real property and make about 5k to 7k as passive income monthly

    I just purchased a 2nd residence 2 br/2 full baths, completely remodeled, 2 car garage with a beautiful view with gorgeous view looking towards a mountain and lake. I'm minutes from Bethel Woods (Woodstock, NY). I need help setting up as an Airbnb. Found the enthusiasm and experiences from you two VERY helpful. I'd like to have you guide me next steps.

    Love all the great content. I noticed on your startup checklist you recommend creating an Amazon Business account. Do you have a video or could you let us know why you suggest that?

    I absolutely love the knowledge you share with us for free…but I wish y’all had a course and mastermind/mentorship group. Just bought a different one 2 days ago because you don’t have a course but the way Tony explains things, the details he includes, the practical examples he uses/shows, the deep dives in to critical components (market, CoC return, etc), systems & processes and style he uses to cover the info is easy for me to follow and speaks to how my mind works already. Thanks so much for all you’re doing!

      The housing market was (and still is, IMO) way overheated/overpriced. Combined with overabundance of STRs and waning revenue prospects of purchasing an STR, I decided to wait…and am glad I did.

    We need to have a chat about direct bookings you two. If you’re pulling in close to $1.5m rev that’s over $150k in commission to Airbnb and Vrbo
    I can help show you get that down to at least $75k

    Great video! I couldn't agree more that it's essential to do your due diligence before investing in short-term rentals. This video's 10 steps provide a solid framework for anyone looking to enter the market. Understanding the policies and regulations involved in short-term rentals is crucial, as is choosing the right market. I appreciate the helpful tips on financing options for rental properties, as it can be a significant consideration when investing. Thank you for sharing this valuable information!

    When you post on multiple sites do you turn off instant booking so as to not double book yourself? And even then how do you deal with multiple requests for the same time frame?

    • @Boostly

      You need a PMS, Laura. That prevents it

    • @johnsalazar2950
      @johnsalazar2950 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are many PMS systems that you can manage direct bookings and also add a Channel Manager in which this will link your calendar to many channels such as Airbnb, VRBO, OTAs and many more.

    Do you openly tell your mortgage lender the property is for an air bnb? My lender still treats it as an investment property and requires 15% down for single family homes.
