The housing market was (and still is, IMO) way overheated/overpriced. Combined with overabundance of STRs and waning revenue prospects of purchasing an STR, I decided to wait…and am glad I did.
We need to have a chat about direct bookings you two. If you’re pulling in close to $1.5m rev that’s over $150k in commission to Airbnb and Vrbo I can help show you get that down to at least $75k

When you post on multiple sites do you turn off instant booking so as to not double book yourself? And even then how do you deal with multiple requests for the same time frame?
There are many PMS systems that you can manage direct bookings and also add a Channel Manager in which this will link your calendar to many channels such as Airbnb, VRBO, OTAs and many more.

Do you openly tell your mortgage lender the property is for an air bnb? My lender still treats it as an investment property and requires 15% down for single family homes.
