OH MY GOODNESS YOU SAVED ME. My tv went into a channel lock mode and the universal remote I had wouldn't connect, I been going 2 weeks now but unable to use my playstation or anything on my tv, I woke up today and was like "lemme try 1 more time" I used your way of setting up the remote and out of like 10,000 codes I decided on to pick one code that was 6171 for my TCL tv and the channel lock code was 0000 and it worked first try! Lmaoo man God guided everything I did there I thought I was in a dream or something. I can't believe it's working

Thank you so much. I tried the option without the code where you hold the “Set” button until the volume shows on the TV. I held it for just over a minute and the volume then displayed on the TV. So easy. Thanks a million.

Wow can't believe this video acually worked to me I live in Canada 🇨🇦and the universal remote I have is not even close to the remote in this video and it's also a completely different brand as well.Mine is a Monster Universal Remote but my tv is a Sony and I stopped this video just minutes into it as I only needed the Sony tv code I put the code in and hit stop on my remote and it acually programd it
