Spoonworks Summer Series - The Invitational - 3rd round

What a absolute awesome weekend
The 3rd round of the Spoonworks Summer Series 2024 manage to go ahead despite the weather on Saturday
We had to postpone the event to Sunday as Saturday kept raining and the jumps and were just too slippery
However it didn't stop a lot of the boys they were still out there having a ball, it was giggles all-round
Everyone at the event on Saturday was happy to return on Sunday as the weather was looking like it was going to be a lot better with longer finest spells to get through the competition runs
Sunday came around and it was absolutely gleaming until we started the runs and a bit of rain came through but stayed away for the rest of the day
All of the boys put in a solid effort to get the jumps back up and running from the previous days weather, which I thoroughly appreciated
After the days riding we were able to hand out prizes to all of the boys that won each categories, finding out the top three places of the day which meant we could put the scoring together to find out the overall champions of the whole series

I thoroughly enjoyed putting on the series, getting to meet the younger riders that are coming through in the scene, super cool to see their progression, even over the this summer period
But a massive thanks and shout out has to go to all of the supporters and people that helped behind the scenes putting these events on

Jon Riddle for all the camera work answers general helping behind the scenes
And most of all my wife Kasey for not only allowing me to run these events but supporting me the whole way through and helping run and manage everything in the background on the days at each event absolute Superstar xx
I can't wait till next year, we now have more time and a full year to organise the next series
