After one week of watching videos and reviews, i have to admit that i changed my mind about it. RC world is getting more and more specialized and purpose built (speed, crawl or bash) with more sophisticated mechanics and electronics like diff. lock, AVC etc. This truck mechanics and layout is simple easy to maintain and seem to be very tough while bringing a whole lot off possibilities. They might be right on after all.
same to be honest, i’m glad i’d did more research on this. If i’m spending $400-$500 i want the body to at least have 3d not just plastic covering. The jeep wranglers 1/10 look cool. But then you want a truck and trailer to pull it so you go back to this 😂
id easily buy it no question if it had the 3d body and moving parts, maybe instal a wench and front lights , number bars, make it more universal first .
Well it's been specialized for 20 years now I recently git my first crawler a scx24 I love the damn thing perfect for small yard how ever my grandpa has some property he told me if I get a bigger crawler I can take it out their as he loves my 67 chevy scx24 this f450 is next on my list

Man, I have never seen an RC blow up TH-cam like the CEN 450, it's wild. Every other video in my feed is a F450 bash, crawl, brushless swap, tow or unboxing/review video. I guess I'm gonna have to get one to keep up.

I heard that an extension will be available. Just don't'understand why it's not included in the kit with this body. The one on the chassis is too far inside.

It looks good but performance is not his thing.
It runs really well for a dually.

Man that's sweet love to have 2 off them one build low and slow for pulling other things and one with little more travel locked diffs and some bigger tires for shore be a great scaler keep up great work and stay safe out there with all that's happening .

My first impression was a so so, but after some time i appreciate them more. They sure are scale and well done with that center cap set up that can be unscrewed with only two bolt to have access to the wheel nut.

Man that's a beauty
This truck is nice, but i think they missed the right spot. Other companies are giving much more (TRX4/TRX6, Redcat Scout II ect.) with a lot of details like plastic moldings, grills, lights with bucket etc. Plus, i'm not sure about those over sized 24'' wheels that are coming out of fenders. It's opening the way to other companies to enter the market. Imagine a Traxxas super scale dually crew or mega cab body with scale wheels, tires and center caps (within the body fit). With a selectable 2wd/4wd, lockable diffs, high and a true low gear, rear leaf spring suspension, led lights, a folding tail gate, a fifth wheel hitch and trailer... Sorry i'm just so excited about all this ;) . That would just be amazing.
Its ment to be a "show style truck" if you google show duallys they stick out like that.
yeah, I really hope traxxas will come out with a truck like that, and all those nice things (2wd-4wd, lockables,hi-low)

Love the idea of a truck like this (I've got ideas for my own) but I'm really not a fan of the wheels sticking out so far. I know there are ppl who like their trucks like that but you could easily achieve that look with offset wheels. But for those of us who prefer a bit more conservative look we'd have to do some major surgery to get a more factory stock look.
Truck Pull competitions are coming guys. they should have did a molded grill with light buckets. a light kit would have put this over the top in scale.

Cool truck 😎 I hope CEN comes out with a trailer or, at least, a hitch extension that will work with other trailers? Interested to know if the RC4WD standard hitch (RC4ZS1781) will work?
If I had to guess, it looks too short to clear the body, but it's the right design.

Orion maybe if Traxxas didn’t make it so all your batteries and stuff has to be Traxxas they’d get my money . When I placed the order for the Bronco I was unaware that only Traxxas batteries with Traxxas connectors work with it . 😠 This is $100 cheaper and will work with the equipment I already have .
Orion that’s what I thought too but I sent Traxxas an email and was told that it would void any warranty on the electronics . Oh well it’s their loss I’ll stick to what I’m getting . I’ve got my Rc4wd tf2 for trails and my kyosho outlaw rampage for bashing I’ll use this for pavement , light trails and towing the other trucks around 👍🏻
@@sb4pro It will void the warranty if you change the connector. The trx4 can tow a trailer and it is much better at offroading than this thing is. Just don't pull anything too heavy.

I like the idea, but it it is geared so high to do over 20 mph I imagine it will overheat very quickly with any kind of resistance such as a trailer. Hooked to it unless you keep it on the sidewalks

I have wheels, tires, receiver, brushless motor, esc, servo, diff locks and servo. All I’m missing is the truck. It’s pre ordered
There is a kit for the trailer hitch have to buy separately it is a bracket that best right to the factory hitch and it even comes with the receiver hitch and ball
