Your tutorial is the best of all the patterns that I have seen, your pattern has the correct top for doing the box. The other ones will be to tight to get the tissue out. Keep up the great work. You are teaching wonderful. I have been crocheting for over 80 years. I am now 93 and making your tissue box for a gift. Thank you.

I so love and appreciate your talents of modernizing crochet house hold items. Especially your towel holder n now you have come up with a really cool tissue holder. These make beautiful gifts. Thank you 👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽

How many skeins of yarn do I need to make the main portion of the cover for a basic square Kleenex box without the tassels?

The yardage should be listed in the description below the video

Just wanted to know whether you make a slip stitch at the end of each row or just continue

If I don’t instruct you to make a slip stitch, then don’t make one. To be honest I haven’t made one in a while but I do think you work in the continuous round. Hope this helps!☺️

Another good option is put two extra rows in at the end so a row is under the box, and sew in elastic and it will hold under the box nice and uniform. I'm so excited to crochet this tissue box cover
