The muffler clamp is supposed to go behind the footrest hanger bracket, it'd look a lot neater that way.

It did get moved shortly after the video was taken. You’re dead right. :)

4 years in, you did not say if there was a weight savings over the stock one. Looks like about 5.5Kg.

Did you just leave the hole open when you removed the baffle? It's odd that Delkevic didn't include a nut or something to plug that small hole left after removing the baffle.

Yes. I just left it open. If you were bothered by it I guess you could get a small stainless steel machine screw to fit.

AFTER RUNNING THE 9" OVALS ON MY ZX14R FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS I SWAPPED OVER TO 18" OVALS. DB KILLERS REMOVED OF COURSE.

Great vid! Did you try it with the Muffler on? And if so, is there a significant difference in sound?

Quality product. No wonder they have such a good reputation.
There's always one bolt/nut/fastener, hiding away in an awkward place. Lol !

is there any thermal affect of 9" muffler to side bag?

I didn't go for the wide open mouth, but the one with the end on it, which does divert downwards slightly... I've had no issues with my side-bags with this exhaust whatsoever.

Not sure, but if like my Ninja 1000 bags there a heat shield on bottom of bag.

I have recently purchased a 1250 with a Delkevic Exhaust already installed. When the bike is idle the exhaust sound pure and very nice. When I rev it, it still sounds perfect but when I let off the throttle there is a tiny rattle sound coming from inside the exhaust:( I have tried to research what the issue could be with no solid answer:( Just wondered if you or any of your viewers know what it could be? and how I fix it? I have uploaded a video on TH-cam, my latest one and you can hear it in the video. If anyone wants to have a listen & report back to me. It would be much appreciated. Thanks. PCG

Sorry, I love my two brothers much more. Although the Delkevic looks and sounds better, but still far better than stock.
