People said KT or LSB will come to worlds as LCK's 4th seed and people said DRX have a decent chance not even getting out of play-ins and people said DRX have no chance to get out of groups over TES Rogue and even GAM. People said DRX were in the easiest group and they have no chace against EDG in a bo5. People said GENG will 3-0 DRX and people said T1 already won worlds before grand finals.

Imagine the amount of pressure DRX would have gone through mentally to get their Baron stolen. Even though the team remained calm, I still was at the edge of my seat thinking if they will lose the final elder dragon because T1's GUMAYUSI was an absolute beast in stealing these objectives but DEFT had laid out the traps and they zoned as much as possible. It was truly one of the most intense game as the game could have gone either side. GG to both the teams. Honestly, DRX Absolutely Deserved It
Inhibitor incident alr screwed them up, baron steals are nothing for them, just a massive mental diff between the 2 teams
Keria really went through with his promise to help deft win worlds him steping on that trap at drag was really nice of him what a bro respect.

It has everything. This is truly the greatest anime tournament arc of all time.
As a Smite player who has never played LoL, I didn’t understand the abilities being cast but was fun to watch the highlights. Seems to be a great underdog story and I enjoyed the back and forth.

Pyoshik after worlds 2020 cried when Chovy, Deft, Keria and Doran left the team since he felt that they lost coz of him.
Fast forward 2 years and he's the world champion

Yeah I couldn’t believe Aatrox wasn’t picked or banned sooner in this game. Particularly on T1’s side after Game 4. Very weird decision imo. But I’m bronze so what do I know? xD
The Game 5, DRX adapted and didn't ban Caitlyn, which made T1 change their draft plans. They assumed Aatrox would be picked later which was a mistake.
Their mistake in draft was picking Viktor, and then Gwen.
They either should have picked Yone early for Zeus as a preempt to Aatrox or picked Ryze for Faker against Azir.
T1 couldn't pick Aatrox earlier because DRX had the Camille as an answer.
DRX managed to dictate draft from Red side after not banning Caitlyn.
That top diff made my heart sink .
I've been away from league for about 3 years glad I decided to watch this series and to see deft was still playing and finally got his world title
What a story from DRX. The greatest run in playoffs I've seen in all my years watching esports. Even surpassing Taipei Assassins who were the real first world champions in my eyes.
Let's check out this insane accomplishment.
-Beat out LEC #1 seed Rogue and Top Esports in Groups
-Took out 2021 defending champs, EDG
-Took out HEAVY tournament favorites Gen G
-Took out the GOAT and his squad of mechanical prodigies

For T1, their top lane getting crushed is probably the biggest reason why they lost. Faker hasn't been a carry for this team for a while so a slightly underperforming mid is expected. Weird to give Aatrox after how well Kingen played game 4 with it
Faker is better on mobile mids with a dash to make plays. He lost both games as viktor where his role was to defend instead of attacking
As an SKT fan since 2013 it's hard to feel too bad for them since they were being cocky during interviews as if they were so sure they'd win against DRX. This is a big humbling moment for them.
It’s not being cocky. It’s confidence. I’m sure they all respect each other but confidence is also one of a big factor to keep improving and trusting yourself they’re young they have more times to come.

DRX so great they don't need to smite 3 barons all series.
Beryl is the real MVP... multiple times in the series, not just this game, he escaped with 1HP, making T1 chased after him for a kill and out of positions... He played all these weird wobble champions like Barb, Heimerdinger and caused discomfort for the enemy for just to look at him (I did get tilted by just watching him wobble out with 1HP lol)
also don't forget he shotcalled both game 2 and 5 to close the game. Others were doubting but Beryl said in intercom to trust him

I still couldn’t believe T1 rushed karma. Game 4 and 5 we’re decided at champ select. They could have took varus at 1 and yone at 2. They knew aatrox was open and struggled against it. Props to DRX what a worlds run

Aatrox is not the problem, kingen is . Zeus lost to him as a fiora, one of the most unplayable matchup for aatrox , and he got solo killed, smh.kingen is the best top
Zeus pushing top when and getting caught out was a bad play. He should’ve been pushing bot side. He had TP with baron up. Getting caught gave drx a window to baron or do a team fight. Which DRX had a better comb to when fights every time.
Honestly wish this was how all the regions would play, na and eu fucking fail in comparison to these insane macros and just all around entertaining games, like watching these regions fight over rift and seeing the insane value of it, while na is always giving it up, really shows the big difference is strengths and why they are always on top
Instead of playing what they do best, t1 played according to how drx would play. Meanwhile Drx didnt give a damn and just played how they wanted to play. You can tell from this series if T1 played and drafted like game 1 this would have been a clean sweep, but game 2 onwards was draft diff. Especially with Guma not a single time was he on a hard carry adc like lucian or aphelios, he was stuck on ashe and varus... so tragic.
T1 Threw the game hard on Elder.
