- After killing the dragon you have to kill Nikolai 1.0. To kill Nikolai you have to survive and shoot the yellow pieces on his robot suit until they're all destroyed (5 in total) 2 on his chest then during the fight 2 will appear on his shoulders (1 at a time) when firing mortars after those 4 are destroyed 1 more will appear under his chest. When all pieces are destroyed you have killed Nikolai 1.0 and the cut scene will play.

@@aceadam97 Actually neither Nikolais remarried, Nikolai 1.0 simply buried his sorrow with delusions of having other wives, some of which he said he killed himself, just to make the pain easier, though he still became a crippling alcoholic.

Funny how that worked out, yeah? Primis Nikolai, I found, was such a satisfying way to flesh out what Ultimis Nikolai could have been -- or perhaps was -- before becoming an alcoholic to a dangerous level, being experimented on, and brainwashed.
But when it came down to it, it was an ideology reminiscent of the Ultimis' version that ended up 'saving' the multiverse and everyone who became zombies: the cycle and all of its victims were erased so that it could begin anew, untainted by the Apothicons or Keepers. Our crew was killed, and their struggles were wiped from existence -- but it made way for the possibility that the characters could live better, fulfilling lives without losing their souls or going insane.

When I was younger, around 10 or 12 maybe, and played a lot of COD Zombies, Nikolai was my favorite one to play as...
I remember yelling, practically at the top of my lungs, "YESSSS ANGRY RUSSIAN MAN!!!" whenever I got to play as him. I don't know why I did this, it could've been the dummy thick Russian accent.

so they go to different dimensions everytime they die and the dimensions they die in rictofen was the one who mostly was insane therefore him trying to fight you when you start zombies mode rictofen is lord of zombies and you hear his voice in every BO
Yes and no it's always the same dimension untill BO 4 where Rictofen trys to change the plan. What i think is that everytime they die it creates a paradox so it resets and they try again untill all the events are set in motion to keep that cycle repeating where they save the world then ultimately gets destroyed in the great war happens everytime then they keep going through the same maps repeating the same steps to get the same outcome.
That's where the blood viles come in at the end when the crew starts to fade away because they drunk the viles they get to keep on repeating the cycle until it's broken in BO4
So in World at war and BO1 Rictofen is trying to take control of the zombies by taking Samantha's soul and destroys part of the earth with nukes by the end of it while the zombies spread across the world, in BO 2 Dr Maxis tries to stop Rictofen from being in control but fails as the crew in BO2 was getting orders from Rictofen anyway and leads to the great war
Then another Rictofen from another dimension meet the past crew for the 1st time in origins still in BO2 to try and save Samantha the Agartha
And bring Dr Maxis back as he had a plan to try and stop the zombies and the great war
In Bo3 Rictofen from the other dimension 1st takes the summoning key from the crew in shadows of evil map meets the new past crew Nikolai, Takeo, Dempsey from origins in the place it all started in Der rise or the giant map and has a plan to try and prevent this great war from happening and keep Rictofen from taking control of the zombies destroying the earth and keeping Samantha's soul intact by taking the soul of the other Rictofen that was going to start this power trip and cause all those events and take the other Nikolai Takeo and Dempsey's souls to try and stop this great war by helping Dr Monty
Then in BO4 Rictofen realizes this cycle keeps happening so he keeps his body trapped in the call of the dead map Blood of the dead and waits untill the other crew of Rictofen Dempsey, Takeo and Nikolai get the blood viles and releases his body from the stasis pod, when he was released Rictofen shows Nikolai there's another way to stop this great war by showing him the kronorium and so they leave the past Rictofen in the machine and he dies to blood loss so the new Rictofen and the crew then go to five and there's a cutscene that plays after round 150 and recruit the old versions of the crew Rictofen Dempsey Takeo and Nikolai to come with them to Alpha Omega map to get the elemental shard after that they sit around and get the old Rictofen to continue directing Stuhlinger in Tag Der totem like he did in BO2 to finish the plan to stop the Apocalypse but tricked him because it only wiped those universes from existing but Nikolai realises that their crew is the paradox and kills the new versions and the old versions of the crew and gets Samantha to kill him aswell to stop the paradox and the actual universe is saved no more paradox's and no great war or maybe there was a great war nobody knows but it didn't happen on earth like it did before.

Me and my friend had the hardest time beating Nikolai we took a lot of try’s
took us a maybe 4 atempts to even get to that part and trying to beat him lucky this attempt was the one we defeated him though. most of these boss battles are hard to win against but planning before hand always helps in most cases. like weapons perks gobblegums packa puinches monkey bombs and so on whos doing what when we get to the boss fight.
