It doesn't matter how well they preserve it or not. Its a cultural heritage of Indian people and should be with them, not in a UK museum. That Durga statue for example is from a Hoysala era temple which is still functional but misses that idol. There are tons of such things.
We indians should make a move to bring back our heritage given to us by our ancestors. I wish that will happen soon..
Yeah, Same that Vishnu statue is from Vishnugarh temple of bihar..Which is still functioning & very famous in b/w pilgrims here. That Sun statue is major part of our culture as well coz we worship both rising & setting down sun during chhath puja, it has great significance..we have several sun temples at major ghats as well.
We gotta construct similar well maintained and protected Museum to bring them back till then let it stay there.

This reminds me of Architecture of Akshardham, it has this type of architecture and the idols which was very mesmerizing, we could like see how beautiful vedic period must have looked like. If you guys haven't visited Akshardham in Delhi, I recommend you guys visit the magnificent temple, it's full of this type of architecture, and the over all vibe of that place is blissful.

Most of north india is not aware of beauty of Hampi and art of karnataka temples.....such intricate and detailed art is hard to find elsewhere

@@IndianPolish - Same here I came to know once I visited Hampi and Belur of karnataka.Carvings are such as if they were carving butter not stones.Hampi is good place to chill also, loaded with historical place , feels like you are back to 1000 year old village with all beautiful temples and art surrounding you.Though we see what is left after invasions and destruction ....also post lots of smuggling but what remains is still too much to grasp innone visit.

I wondered why there aren't much attractive museums in our country, but got to know from these 2 videos that it's because most of our heritage is outside our country. It just didn't affect our past but will also affect our future. ❤️🙏
Also ASI has neglected most historical temples. In Karnataka , Maharashtra there are 1000's of temples which no one cares and ASI doesn't bother because they don't generate revenue for them.
It is because ASI is more interested in preserving kos minars (made by mugals) than preserving anything even remotely Hindu.

Your both videos were so emotional, such the prestigious things were taken away from our country. How the coming generation will know about it… I can’t even imagine when somebody takes away those objects, which actually belongs to my family.
It doesn't even matter if they were in India as all those things would be either wrecked or destroyed in India as we all know how much they care of museum stuff.......At least they are taking care of them properly and it will also remind us of our painful past which needs to be remembered...........

Not going to lie it is just sad to see all these, when majority of our people won't ever be even able to see such artifacts from our past.
I read about an incident, I'm sure it was in Nigeria where a local tribe had literally no artifacts of them left. So students for a school trip to learn about their culture had to go to Britain or other european countries.
I mean europe has done enough to wade of holocaust, literally wiping it of the memory, but the cruelties of colonization shines brightly in their museums.
