Always loved that touch of Iori's eye going blood red when he's about to do Yatagarasu in KOF XIV, showing how he's tapping into Orochi's power for the most part, BUTs till keeping himself in control without going into the Riot of the Blood.
I kinda liked claw Iori. After all that Wild Iori, Orichi Iori and Riot Iori, it was a nice change of pace to see a sober Iori without the curse of Orochi. Also some of his claw moveset ended up being inherited by KoF XIV Iori

The female Iori is actually based off a running gag throughout the whole community series where Iori Yagami was dressed like a girl in order to join the Queen of Fighters named as "Miss X". SNK embraced the joke and made it real in SNK Heroines.
