Best definition of Trap music is like a hood version of EDM and shit like that. It's the same style, different beats. They both use a constant bass beat and the hook is usually a couple of words repeated a bunch of times. Only difference of Trap and the EDM is a DJ makes the voice repeat for the hook and with Trap a rapper raps the whole song or does the hook once and its repeated.
