And I wasn't happy with the results because it looked like my eyebrows were tattooed on, didn't have that microblading natural look
Depends on what people ask for, I asked for very natural looking ones and you can't tell it's been done at all. But remember that it looks harsher right after it's been done.
@@SamarkandChan Agreed! I chose to go for a "harsher" looking brow so that as they faded over time, it didn't look (for lack of a better word) muddled. Now that a month has gone by, they're much softer.

We Microblading artist cannot blade our own brows. Applying makeup on your self (completely different than Microblading) on your brows is not the same as Microblading someone else. Microblading artist isn't a makeup artist. In some cases they are. Like me. I'm both but same vice versa. Not all MUA's are permanent makeup artists. In my case I haven't done my brows through someone else because I can not find someone accessible to me that I trust to do my brows. It's. Like the hairstylist hair is always the last thing she pays attention too. Same story here.
I got it done a couple years ago and it was the best thing ever! I’ve also always had fine eyebrow hairs and patches where they don’t grow and microblading helps SO much I highly recommend it
@@berthagarcia9818 It's done in a more upper layer of skin, in comparison to tattooing, so it's only semi-permanent. It will fade a LOT, and you'll need to have them redone every 1-3 years (it varies a lot, some people hold onto pigment well, and others don't).

So very glad I took the plunge. I had very few hairs on my brows so made a huge difference in my appearance. I hated prepping my brows every morning. So now I feel alive!

She's so naturally beautiful with her smile and her freckles that if someone showed me her picture and told me to guess what she was going to get fixed I would have been stumped. Maybe I'm alone on this but she really didn't need them. I'm happy she's happy though.
I have had mine done last month, my healing process was really easy and not dramatic at all. The result is overall great too. Going for my touch up next week.
I found it horribly painful even with numbing cream , and I have a high pain tolerance , I’ve had 3 kids with no pain meds ‼️ The level of discomfort shocked me TBH , however it was so so worth it , just wish I’d done it years ago ....

Don't be scared, as long as you go to a certified microblading artist... one tip is no drinking of sodapop, coffee or anything that has caffeine 24hrs before & after procedure to reduce bleeding and sweeling. I'm a microblading artist and that's what I tell my clients before they come to me. (Sorry if my English is bad.)
No. Tattooing goes deeper into the skin, and is permanent. Microblading only penetrates the top layers and is semi permanent, lasting 1-3 years. I've never seen tattooed brows that didn't bleed after a few years.

I’m losing my vision (eyesight) so filling in my brows each day was a task that sometimes resulted in tears because I’d become frustrated that I couldn’t see clearly enough to do it correctly and evenly. Now, I wake up and I confident in leaving the house with a bare face and without needing to touch up my brows.

I got microbladed in 2018. My girl did NOT use a sedative, made the color just for me a lil brown a lil black here and there. Needed a 2nd session cause my tails shedded off. 2021 3 years later the strokes are still there but the color has become a little reddish brown and has almost faded away. The shape is still 100%. Def recommend!!
No sedative, because on brown/dark skin the PH of the sedative made brown/black ink GREEN. So it did hurt at the end of the session, like a stinging sensation like someone rubbing a raw area of skin, but it was ok. 2nd session was KILLING 😂 omg the pain! Hahah would still do it again
I got mine done by a PhiBrows artist in Germany. She didn’t apply numbing cream coz she said the cream affects the longevity of the pigment. The grating sound makes me cringe the whole time and it stings when the pigment was rubbed on but it overall the results are amazing and would recommend getting it done.

I was thinking about getting microblading done, I wish I could go this woman's studio...if I could afford her...I defo will be checking out more videos.

I go back every six to eight months for a retouch. Sounds silly but after a lifetime of eyeshadow and pencils. Scared to sweat. I feel free and look “ put together” even if I don’t wear makeup. Do your research
My friend has hed her done for our entire friendship,like 5 years.. And I just found out lol..they look amazing. I've even given her facials and I didn't notice. I've seen more good crowd than bad, thankfully. They've come a long way.
My beauty techician recommends the so-called powder eyebrow method over microblading. I don't really need either one of these, since my brows are naturally full. However, I need to have them threaded and plucked regularly.
I had microblading done last year - they looked incredible but fell straight out. Two top ups later, I have slightly thicker brows than I did but nowhere near the perfect hair strokes I was hoping for. Word of warning to my oily skinned friends, you will be looking at at least yearly top ups and that's even if they hold in that long. For me, it wasn't worth the discomfort, the two+ weeks of no exercise and all the bloody faff!
I got my brows microbladed about a month ago and the lady didn’t numb me until after she made the hair stroke incisions which didn’t do much as I was already in pain, if you have had this done, were you number right off the bat? I didn’t really get a consultation or see what she was doing until she was finished, she didn’t wear gloves and had bracelets dangling in my face which was a major red flag to me. The only reason I didn’t walk away is that my mum recommended her to me and prepaid and we wouldn’t get a refund. I mean my results aren’t bad at all, but I’ll never go back to her
I won’t lie, I didn’t do an allergy test as I could have so my consultation was the same day. After all the face mapping was done I was numbed for about 30 mins and then we got started. I’m glad nothing went wrong but find I hope you find someone else for your touch up, because the pain is so real without numbing. For my touch up I got microshaded with a “gun”. It was way less painful and I didn’t even have to ask for more numbing in between each pass. So maybe that would work for you
I finally decided to get my eyebrows done (ombre brows). Aside from looking like a muppet for about a week, they have been pretty life-changing! I wish I had done it years ago. Worth every penny! Just ALWAYS make sure you find a reputable artist... It is your face after all!
I did a 1st round and loved the results but the process was too intensive and painful to return. My eyebrows are SO important and I’m so efficient now that it just seems easier to fill them in daily. 4 years later I have about 5 “hair” passes still visible. Makes me queasy thinking about doing it again but appreciate what it does for other people!
I've always wanted this since I'm tired of doing my brows but hubby does not like the idea of "slicing" into the skin as he did his own research about this when I brought it up to him. So I guess I'll stick to drawing my brows but yours definitely turned out perfect! So natural looking brows!

The key is keeping them moist with aquaphor to keep scabing at a minimum. Wash with baby shampoo every other day along with the ointment.

I’m glad nothing went wrong but find I hope you find someone else for your touch up, because the pain is so real without numbing. For my touch up I got microshaded with a “gun”. It was way less painful and I didn’t even have to ask for more numbing in between each pass. So maybe that would work for you

I finally decided to get my eyebrows done (ombre brows). Aside from looking like a muppet for about a week, they have been pretty life-changing! I wish I had done it years ago. Worth every penny! Just ALWAYS make sure you find a reputable artist... It is your face after all!

I did a 1st round and loved the results but the process was too intensive and painful to return. My eyebrows are SO important and I’m so efficient now that it just seems easier to fill them in daily. 4 years later I have about 5 “hair” passes still visible. Makes me queasy thinking about doing it again but appreciate what it does for other people!
I've always wanted this since I'm tired of doing my brows but hubby does not like the idea of "slicing" into the skin as he did his own research about this when I brought it up to him. So I guess I'll stick to drawing my brows but yours definitely turned out perfect! So natural looking brows!
If my skin has a tendency to keloid, would this be a huge no-no for me? Or is the micro blading not that deep into the skin? I totally would love to do this!

I do love nice eyebrows, I would love to get mine done. I have Henna done a few times, but only lasts a few weeks.
