Thank you 🎉
You’re welcome!
Thanks for these exercises, I only play legato when training scales, I'll try new ways. What do you think about playing scales with chords?
If you mean playing a scale with one hand with a chord in the other, that's a good idea. I'm a proponent of practicing scales one hand at a time.
@@athomewithmusic8698 yes, I meant this kind of practice, sometimes I use it, when work with new piece
Am I incorrect or in the first scale exercise do you have the incorrect finger number for the right hand run, ie., the run up is shown ending on 1 instead of 5?
You’re correct, that finger number should be 5 and not 1. It’s hard to keep track of all those numbers!
@@athomewithmusic8698 I hear ya...Eighty-eight keys, ten fingers and I barely passed math...
can you please turn off the metronome? I have misophonia. I can't hear anything with that dreaded metronome playing.
I understand how distracting that can be. For some piano students, a metronome can be very helpful, and I wanted to demonstrate that. This is actually the only time you will hear it used in one of my videos. I realize that the sound can be triggering for some folks.
