  • Complete scenic drive through Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park in Arizona and Utah. In this video we take the complete 17 miles scenic loop drive through Monument Valley. Along the way we stop at the different pullouts and overlooks, and even pass a couple friendly dogs.
This drive was made in early February and there's still snow on the ground which add some nice contrast to the desert colors.

I have seen many things in my life, but when I saw this 2 weeks ago I was stunned. This is the most amazing thing on the planet, to imagine how this was formed millions or billions years ago is beyond comprehension. Didn't have time to take scenic route but this is very well done. Better than the Grand Canyon which I have also seen.

If you’re ever in the area again Monument Valley is definitely worth seeing in person. Both Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon are very special places for sure.

Thanks for these videos where you see the road, scenery, slow down for the highlights and give a brief post on locations. I use these while I’m on my exercise equipment for 20-40 minutes at a time and I don’t like to get the verbal play by play of the trip. Monument Valley is just fantastic and I hope to get there someday!

I've visited MV four times, 1992,1994,2003 and 2012. The road has been graded since my visits, it used to be a bumpy ride. Some sites seem to be missing, too. I remember the three sisters' monuments in the background of a hogan, brush arbour and corral with lots of ponies inside. No mention of the large rock pillar entitled Yei bi shay ? Looks like this site has been "cleaned up" too, no hogans or trailers in site. The first three occasions I camped, overlooking the Mittens. The last visit had a hotel built on the campground ! Made some lasting friends on each visit, such an enigmatic place. Oldtimer Englishman reliving past adventures.

Beautiful sunny day, Everything is crystal clear, sharp, stable in frame and in focus. I became a fan of this place when I saw the
opening and closing scenes from the film, "Electra Glide In Blue" 1973. Well Done indeed!

I've seen a few videos driving through the area on 163 with "the view" featured, but this is the first loop drive I've seen. Well, there certainly is so much more than "the view" in this area. Thank you for sharing this. Such interesting views and fascinating things to see on this drive. A couple times I was thinking, "it's so RED!". The views through the valley seeing other hills and points in the distance are cool. The view from Artist's point is especially awesome.

I love these videos. As an amateur geologist all kinds of questions come to mind. Like in the view at 32 mins 16secs I ask myself what forces of nature caused the boulders in the foreground to come tumbling down from the rock face and how long will it take that one piece of rock almost center to fall away from the rest. Thank you for making these. :D

Kinda interesting the color of red cedar everywhere. I see that these boulders appear to break apart much in the same way as well. Stunning coincidence I guess. Like the "edge of the cedars" state park in Utah. Surely coincidental :)

My favorite scene in one of my favorite movies is when in Easy Rider, Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper are riding through and camping in Monument Valley in the evening.
I knew it was a large area, but never realized just how vast it is.

Hello, you capture the best road driving videos. I just subscribed. And thank you for these wonderful sceneries. What model dash cam do you use? It's so clear and stable. Thank you.

It is a great drive, a bucket list item. Two things: 1.) You must pay around $20 to take the drive, 2.) It's best to have a high-clearance vehicle. There are ruts and rocks in some places, and some cars will hit bottom. 4-wheel drive is not necessary. I went off the road a bit to shoot some photos and was yelled at quickly. "Hey you, you can't go there." I got the photo I wanted, so it all worked out.
