- Carl is at the JBL booth, where Jason is introducing us to the 2024 PartyBox speaker lineup. First up is the PartyBox Club 120, which is replacing the 110. The PartyBox Stage 320 is larger in size. These speakers offer great upgrades from previous models: the handle is moved for easier, more comfortable carrying and both will also have replaceable batteries. That way, you can keep the party going and double your playtime. The PartyBox Club 120 has up to 12 hours of playtime per battery, while the Stage 320 has up to 18 hours. There is also the PartyBox microphone kit, which retails at $149 for a pair of wireless microphones with a dongle. Karaoke night has never been so easy! The new lineup will be available in the spring.

I love the design of the updated logo and placement of the LED lights
Man I'm sooo ready! Love what they have done with both! The flush handle on the 120, the wheels and light on the 320 and best of all replaceable batteries 🎉🎉🎉
THE replaceable battery is a major upgrade
If only the battery for both the 320 and 120 were the same and you can put a bigger capacity in the 120 .
Les da flojera
fun fact, the Partybox 320 has the same exact battery of the new JBL Xtreme 4, why didn't they put it in the 120?
simply: marketing ✨️
who cares, removable batteries is great ill just buy a few batteries and swap out now and then
@@domepugliese do you have a source for that?
for the weight and power of the speaker the battery sizes are a joke.
@@wishandwatch
seems like i cannot paste the link here.
Basically, if you search for the "Xtreme 4 battery support" video (on this same exact channel)
listen around 1:06, and you can also see that's the same battery of the 320
IMO, the Partybox 710 still has the slickest lights, even over the new Ultimate.
X2
They are good , that’s for sure.
710 is pretty much a masterpiece in a lot of ways and it's gonna be hard to beat.
@@LukeR1M I have 2 of them 710’s , and together they are definitely hard to beat for the price. Especially since 2 ran me just under 1500 after tax but 2 Ultimates would run me almost 3700 after tax. Yeah Ultimate is the best cause I have heard it up close , but not better than 2 of the 710’s and definitely not worth more than double the price of 710’s for 2 Ultimates . I hav no idea how deep thebass went on my 710’s until after a month I played some of the Bass boosted stuff on there and they definitely are a beast. Itbwas insane 😃Lol. I usually listen to metal , and so do my neighbors when I crank it up , but the bass boosted stuff surprised me for sure 😂😂😂😂😅😅
One thing JBL seems to have removed is the rubber feet on the sides for horizontal use. This is kind of a big deal to leave this off and I'm not sure why something that would be of a very minimal expense, that has been on the previous versions, would be removed.
Agreed, they messed up in this feature, the lateral rubber is usefull and beautiful (expecially on the 110), I just love to put my 110 on the top of the car when I am outside... I thinks the only positive thing is the replaceble battery and AuraCast,
Woww.. All new.. I have 310 but maybe i wil get the 320 soon if ready stock on asia ❤ jbl.. From Malaysia..
Been waiting for this to happen. Coz i really want to buy a 310 but im gonna wait for the 320 instead, since i had my party box encore i can wait for the 320 ❤❤❤
Can you play the 120 and 320 pluged in without any battery inserted?? that's important for the longevity of the speaker
Good question! I think it's possible.
i assume it would definitely be possible
Yes
I was hoping that little handle sticking up on the 120 folded down, but no mention of that and he didn't fold it down. The battery for the 120 sure looks small.
It does fold down flush with the unit when not in use.
@@syton745 I figured it must, but nothing was mentioned. Thanks for clearing that up.
Hi Jay are you going to make any reviews on these newer JBLS and compare them to there old competitors
@@Pupp3tmaster-uq3yz I'm sure I will if I can afford them. May only be able to pick up one at launch.
JBL rules. their stuff is awesome. replaceable batteries a no brainer, glad they finally went there.
Когда уже будут большие динамики с пассивными излучателями? Такие маленькие батарейки 😂 как будто это слишком дорого сделать их в два раза больше размером
Será que a bateria vai aguentar o mesmo tempo de duração que os modelos anteriores ?
Will the 720 finally get batteries?
Why would they have different batteries between the two units... you should have the option to use/buy both, for both units.
Love to have the ultimate but I think for the price the 710 is the best value
At the same price, is it better to buy this Partybox wireless mic 2024 or phenyx pro PTU71?
Volume knob on 320 and removable battery. Pretty decent upgrade over 310. And much better looking lights plus updated logo.
But JBL removed the orange rubber feet on the sides of the speaker for using horizontally. Why?
@@JaysStraightUpReviews I assume it's because almost none uses these speakers horizontally so JBL gave up on this idea entirely. I personally would be more inclined to use them horizontally if they were symmetrical in that position, having tweeters on both sides (or on the bottom when placed vertically) but since they are not there isn't much incentive to use them that way.
If you look at the Partybox Ultimate, it's apparent that their new generation of speakers will have very similar design moving forward including the lightfeature and removal of the orange rubber feet for placing horizontally. And to me personally, that's fine. I don't use my partyboxes horizontally and why keep a feature maybe 2% of people are gonna use? Without the orange rubber, the speaker looks better and cleaner and maybe that was their goal.
Filma a JBL Partybox 320 please!
When are they going to sale those battery replacements? I dont see them alone only the speakers them self ?
Why other premium brands don't do the instant battery replacement option as standard feature is beyond me. This should be the norm.
Damn you can’t lay the party box 120 on its side anymore why lol
its more designed for partys now, meant to be put on a stand or set on the ground facing up
for clubs.. "club 120"
@@syn3244 I get it but that’s what the 320 should be for. I love my 110 for tailgating on the beach that I can turn it on its side. I wanted to upgrade but now I’m sticking with my 110 lol
Jes and they moved the tweeters to the top and got rid of the Lights around it what a shame
Club is a name of a jbl product series... you have club models for car speakers, home audio etc...
Also stage@@syn3244
when are the swappable batteries be out for sale for the 120 and stage 320
replaceable batterie is really good
I saw a big one in the right side and thats not ultimate for sure might be what someone said 720
I was also thinking the same..
@@Indian_Speaker_GuyI think that's the PB Ultimate. They didn't introduce any continuation of Partybox 710, just 310 and 110 Partybox's.
@@SPLSPECTRUM no the Ultimate is clearly noticeable the lines on the upper and lower lights can be seen clearly.. It it's looking a little smaller than the Ultimate. But that's also true that if they have already invented the new one they would've obviously announce it. But maybe not now, later it may be possible the 710 would probably get an upgrade 👍
@@Indian_Speaker_Guy Yeah, fur sure.. I see that it's smaller than Ultimate..
That is inded the Partybox Ultimate. If you pause the video when it's showing it, the sign above it even says Partybox Ultimate.
I have 2x 310s... How am I supposed to upgrade if the 320 wont stereo pair with a 310? I have to replace both speakers at once? My wallet won't like that.
I read the Xtreme 4 lets you select between aura cast or party boost so you can link to your old speakers if you have party boost. I’m sure they’ll do the same with the Partybox series.
Dont update dude, I believe the sound still the same. The only big feature is the replaceble battery, But in a long term I dont think the possibility of put in/out the battery is good, this may fucked up something on the battery jack
@@ijatesalate I looked at the connectors on the battery and inside the battery tray. It looks just like my power tools but smaller connectors. I wouldn’t take my battery out all the time I would leave it in and use and charge it mostly. I would only swap out the batteries on those days where I’m outside for long periods of time but that’s not often just an occasional party. I think it’ll be fine honestly. I’m more worried about the connector to the charging port breaking. I’ve seen pictures of the 110 having that issue.
There's an echo control for 120?
why question is when the battery packs die how do u charge them
kannst du mal ein info video von der ces messe machen ich bin hyped auf die neuen partyboxen
wish they wouoldve showed the light mides
I'm surprised by how small the actual battery is.
Partybox 320 will be more powerful than 310 or not?
I think they will be about the same as power , maybe in the sound quality it will be some differences.
It will probably sound better and maybe more powerful. Remember about the replacement of Partybox 1000, the Partybox Ultimate, that has the same power, but it's louder than PB1000 and has more bass and a different signature.
True to JBL’s trajectory since the 80’s, the sound quality will probably go down.
@@NiToNi2002 Partybox, man, not Hi-Fi systems.
I believe the sound still the same. The only big feature is the replaceble battery, But in a long term I dont think the possibility of put in/out the battery is good, this may fucked up something on the battery jack
I think the Partybox 320 looks good but the 120 not that good because i miss the lights around the Tweeters i will stay with my 110
And il stay with my 3W realme pocket speaker . . .😓
they had to lift tweeters for better soundstage
I see 710? Reaplaisment in rith? Big jbl log speaker
No, that's the Partybox Ultimate that came out last year.
I still think 120 is more beautiful than the new 120
Whats the update of 710? Any update to 720?
Ultimate is the upgrade, 710 was the most powerful model in 2nd gen lineup.
JBL Partybox now has 3 gens, look:
(1 gen)
on-the-go, 100, 300, 1000
(2 gen)
encore essential, encore, 110, 310, 710
(3 gen)
on-the-go essential, 120, 320, ultimate
My guess is the update to the 710 and Encore/Encore Essential will be out next year. The Partybox Ultimate was the update to the Partybox 1000 that really never did get a second gen version.
Their batter is so much smaller than I thought. I wonder why their speakers are so heavy then?
I used to make subwoofer boxes, the denser/stronger the box, the less resonance or vibration is transferred to the box from the speakers. This means more accurate sound reproduction, and the watts go straight to your ears and do not vibrate the box and floor it's on. This helps with the signature tight bass and punch JBL is known for, not boomy and empty like most lighter speakers.
It's a plastic cabinet.. Maybe 15 % of the total weight @@BalancingEternity
@@lucabertolaso2167 the partybox speakers have a wooden cabinet covered in a plastic shell.
@@lucabertolaso2167The cabinet is wood, It's quality forsure 👍🏻
@@lucabertolaso2167 I place a tracker inside my jbl 310 - the plastic is just the outside shell - inside its wood
That's a very small battery. I was excited but dang
Does the partybox 320 come with a stand hole?
Good question. Important question aswell
Ikr , The guy from JBL was not that informative He did not seem that well knowledged on the problem he look like some guy that was upstairs at corporate working on spreadsheets and someone ask him ,”hey ,can you come down here and try to tell them something about this and by the way don’t tell them how much the battery packs will cost either we’re gonna leave them guessing” 😂
The battery packs are good but here is what I’m gonna predict. i’m guessing the battery that already comes in the older models that we see now are gonna last longer than the new portable battery packs because now they are gonna probably make a battery that’s not gonna last as long so you will buy one of their batteries!!! Think about it? yes it’s great you have a replacement battery but it does not have to last as long now since you can buy more batteries and I guarantee they’re gonna make damn sure these interchangeable don’t last as long then they will create a whole new market for batteries. Could be wrong but just A guess?
Can the 320 connect with my 110?
I dont think so...they got AURACAST or something..so its changing.
I wonder why even to this date and with all the upgrades, JBL could not still provide a remote to their expensive products. Another thing here is why can't you integrate the wireless adopter in the unit so that there is no need of buying that adopter just like many other brands out there?...just like what you did with JBL On the Go series yours
they picked the wrong spoke person for jbl. lol. besides that. i cant wait. take my money now. i want all of them. jbl is my go to speaker for out doors.
Should they have had Dwayne Johnson instead? 😂
@@JaysStraightUpReviews lmfao

As for me, the new design is terrible, but the smallest 120 battery is the most disappointing, and the ridiculous handle. I'd rather buy 110 at a discount
Then buy a 110 and enjoy. To me, the replaceable battery is a HUGE positive. I would have liked for this guy to mention pricing on the batteries for each speaker an dif they will be available at launch.
@@JaysStraightUpReviews Connect to the outlet and do not suffer if there is little autonomy, batteries with a capacity of twice as much have been sold for a long time
@@ramm_raptorrrrr connect to an outlet isn't always an option, Chief.
The interesting aspect is this is when the new 120s and 320s come out how big a price drop is going to take place with the older models? That will be interesting to see and yes I wish they would’ve gave us a cost on the battery packs that would have greatly help I was waiting for that in that video and did not see that .
@@honeybadger713 In the case of 320, it is worth thinking about a new model. Because there are a lot of questions about ergonomics and sound 310. But the 110, like the 710, are perfect, and they sound amazing
Jbl va a tener buen negocio con las baterías 😂
Will the 710 be able to do aura cast with the 320 and a partbox encore ?
710 does not have auracast so they wont connect to each other.
@@justrelaxyouremind oh I know but it’s still a very relatively new speakers and does have a newer Bluetooth version than all the other speakers so maybe ?
@@TheaudioguruI have a partbox 710, and I absolutely do not care for a new auracast
@@ramm_raptorrrrryou should auracast is awesome
@@ramm_raptorrrrraura cast isn’t a JBL thing it’s a general Bluetooth thing. You should look into it. With aura cast you should be able to connect any brand or model speakers with eachother. It solves the problem of speakers not connecting anymore.
Interesting.....
What about the audio output format and codec, is this a secret? JBL is right up against the SBC codec! Which is already 20 years old!!!! There is not a word about high-res in the official specifications. And the author did not disclose the topic. - For a price of 1700 bucks (plus taxes) Sorry, but this is obvious insanity!

I bet the 120 will be around $89 and the 320 will be $129. They won't be cheap.
