I really doubt the players like it when their fans come on here & thank other teams for getting upset. All that matters is how you are playing & regardless of the rankings Arkansas isn’t playing good right now but I guarantee you they are going to focus on getting better & definitely not on hoping other teams get upset. Seriously though Tennessee has a good team they don’t need anyone to get upset to know that.
SEC, like football, dominates baseball…will be interesting playoffs as great offense and defense talent especially at TAMU, KENTUCKY,,ARKANSAS, TENNESSEE, etc.
Enjoyed this very much, good quality play-except for all the hit batsmen. I've always heard, at least since 1974 when they began using them, that colleges use aluminum bats to save money. Please. Just build a Wood budget into the baseball (and softball) budgets and deduct that each year from the university president's salary (they're usually so grossly overpaid they wouldn't notice it) and the game can be played as intended. These kids are supposedly at AA or AAA level now and they're creating artificial stats. Get decent metal on the ball and get it up in the air and you've got a chance to trot around. Several of those home runs today were easy big league outs, as these guys will discover. I'm looking forward to the college WS.
There are a lot of defensive mistakes that I cannot believe are no big deal that like you said cost you the game. I just don't think baseball is looked at the same way it was with texhniciallity on each play and being situationally aware on each play what your responsibility on each play on each different situation. It's become more individualized in terms of being a good athlete instead of a heady baseball player
Kentucky has a heck of a baseball team. The fans were about as loud as a Little League baseball game. You just beat a top 5 team And that's as exciting is a gets?Hopefully,We can catch you and win the East and the SEC.

Rankings don’t matter. Kentucky is leading the sec, which is all you should care about. Who cares about being number 1 if you aren’t winning a title.

lol they are not nearly at AA or AAA level, most of the guys in college can't compete at single-A
This is what worried me, pitching is great but hitting is so bad and if we don’t change something we won’t make far into the post season

Arkansas just doesn’t have the offense to win it all. Amazing pitching but no offense.
In the past few series, the only Arkansas pitcher that has consistently been amazing is Hagan Smith.
