I remember watching this on my winter break in jr high & was glued to my seat during this epic confrontation where Dorian drops a bombshell on viki which caused her to fracture but not just niki smith but including viki & nikki were 7 personalities I think Dorian was sincere in comforting viki. I remember watching clips I had not seen in 85 when mitch & tina set dorian up to show viki , victors secret creepy room where he seduced many young women who were barely legal. Irene was one of them. So she melted down & dorian had great compassion for viki & was furious with mitch & tina for not only setting her up but viki being reduced to such a pathetic state. Plus dorian is human of course she felt bad that victor raped his own child. I do wonder if Dorian did tell her so that she would hate victor & not care to press charges. Erika won back to back Emmys for her work in 94 & 95 but I'm stunned robin strasser did not win a supporting actress emmy. In reality for 94 robin deserved a lead actress emmy for her work on being on trial & convicted & sentenced to death row. She was fabulous. Erika truly could win an emmy every year bc of her stellar acting but she was more a supporting actress emmy to Robin's performance. Then in 95 erika deserved the emmy for her tour de force acting out all those alters plus her scenes here & during her therapy & realizing she killed victor ( or rather her alter tori) I still believe dorian killed him just based on her hearing from nora , that bo & hank were getting a court order to exhume victors body bc of the initial m.e 'a report he had a broken nose & a scratch bc of a pillow smothering him. If dorian was innocent why would she risk breaking into the mausoleum with caustic lye to destroy victirs remains & the broken nose which they would have found on even a skeleton. Dorian at that moment b4 tommy came out should have hid out at a hotel until she could run off to europe.
Re watching this I still think it's a daytime sin that Robin Strasser wasn't at least nominated. And I do think if Robin was nominated and won she wouldn't have a target on her back in 99. But back to this scene I really wonder who the heck did that stunt that was fricking dangerous for daytime
