U covered my situation also in your opening statement...I have a ton of moderns in my collection but im just not feeling their fizz lately. The traditionals haveca strangle hold on my heart ❤️ these days!! Nevertheless, great video and very informative Todd!! 👍👌👊🙏
When I got back into folding knives, i was amazed at all the fancy new flippers. But, like you said, the traditional pulled more at my heart strings. Thanks for the kind words. Have a great day!
I have the praxid was one of my first modern knives when I came to youtube. There always screaming sharp. Do like the color on that one a lot. Have a good evening bro
They are good knifes, for sure. The mini is a more convenient daily carry, for me. Plus a prefer the detent. Button locks are convenient and fidgety, but I find they can be a little to loose on the action. Thanks for watching, Have a great day, brother.
I love the grind on these knives, I would probably favor the mini, im not much of a big knife guy. I have a few large knives but I just don’t use them. I do a little Batonning by our fire pit with my Buck 119, my Buck 110 is about as big as I want to carry, I use a sheath at my back for the 110. I do like the look of both those knives though. I’m actually in the middle of making fire starters, I have around thirty so far, I really appreciate that video, I never would have thought to use straws.👍🇨🇦
I’m glad I brought you something of value. Teach the young ones when they are of age. Yes, big knives have their place. Often just carry a basic Mora in the woods. With the modern folders, big is neat, but less practical. Something along the lines of a Civivi Elementum is plenty big enough. Thanks for watching, brother. You’re always first to comment.
@@rustyminer Really like them both. Smaller one is just a more convenient daily carry for me. Plus it is less likely to create a snowstorm (snowflake reference) 😅
Yeah I absolutely agree I only own 2 button locks and there actually button actuated liner locks. I have had quite a few button locks but vowed to stay away from them

@@Pocket_EDC It gave me a excuse to go to 7/11 to buy the wife and daughter a milkshake, I took about thirty straws.😂🤣
Doesn't get much better than the praxis. I like the bigger one.
@@oxyfee6486 😆🤣😂😅 That's just awesome!

They're very fidgety but, I prefer a stiffer action myself. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers.
