@@strawhatkev They’re so merciless. As soon as they see their opponent stumble they go on such a violent assault and shut them down faster than they expected
That wasnt a question mark kick, its called a snake kick. Questionmark kick typically goes for the body round/front kick and changes into a head roundkick. But the snake kick starts as a round kick but ends in a front/crescent kick.
Is that a kung fu term? In karate we would call this a reverse roundhouse or uchi mawashi geri. The snake kick I learned is a kick you throw as a chopping muay thai style roundhouse then chamber it and throw a snap kick at the last second
In Kung Fu the 中回し蹴り(uchi mawashi Geri) is called a 半月踢 (Crescent kick.) However the kick in this video comes from the same chamber as a snake kick, which promptly redirects a round kick into a crescent kick (or whatever you refer to it as in arts such as savate, tkd, and Muay Thai).
@@trs4184 in the case of changing a front kick to a round kick, it's called a question mark kick generally. @@rookieluke3550 Ah that's interesting. We should really make a unified naming system for these. I'm referring to the kick in this video: th-cam.com/users/shortsAOhIMN9jdUI It's not quite a crescent kick because rather than rotating the side of your foot into the strike, you rotate your hips so you can snap with your knee and strike with the top of the foot.

I had to watch this whole thing frame by frame. It gets even better,.. it is absolutely flawless and to be able to see each reaction actually making sense.. incredible
Karate vs Boxing eh? Both sides have their merit, but the boxer's guard was practically beaten down by those kicks. That Karate girl is clearly made of some tougher stuff to take a jab like that directly as well.
Just that first exchange got me hooked, that 1-2 after that parry was awesome, Isami continuously checking with the leg kicks was also cool, that brutal left hook from Anne after weaving under that right straight at 0:48 *chefs kiss* , just can't get enough
The look on Isami's face when she landed the feint kick 🤣. The wide eyed "I can't believe that worked" a split second before moving in to finish it. Gold.
I would not be surprised at all if mma girl will beat karate one, especially if she gets on back. Styles makes fights, and that would be a great triangle which we frequently see in sport
But... If anne beats mma and isami beats anne... How does mma fight her? I mean sure she has basically the same techniques as karate but with grappling and other stuff, but remember a kyoukushin karate people usually has those moves while also having the power to break wood, stone, sometimes metal...
I can tell; Anne is a legendary boxer who’s one of a kind, pure street fighter. It’s good she learned how to defend against kicks and takedowns, but I still think she should learn how to use those techniques for herself when she’s not facing another pure boxer. Never be strict in a real fight. Be able to adopt something new, adapt to it and overcome anything. No limitations. And never focus on styles and their differences; see them all as one. I really like Anne and I think this would help her.
I've watched this a few times now, and it's just perfect. The contrasting fighting styles, the psychology, the direction, the choreography, the animation, the visual style, the sound effects. Just flawless stuff. If there was an anime or show with fight scenes like this I would watch the hell out of it.
I love how there is no "higher skill wins" shown in this art, it's the realistic show of probability allowing any of your fighters to win with clean hits.

These comments are stupid af. What about this animation is even close to realistic? A boxer checking kicks? The taekwondo fighter doing spins in a middle of blocking attacks? Both fighters legitimately blocking and reacting to punches ( something that is impossible to do in real life)
My god just look at the speed they are fighting at, nothing about this fight is even close to realistic it’s silly lol
@@eem2wavy133 karate, not taekwondo btw
The way she's doing "rei" (salute), the reverse roundhouse kick, the axe kick, the zanshin at the end of the fight.. definitely a Kyokushin karateka😅
She was done after that last punch, the mouth guard went flying and she was on her way out. That kick was personal. I hope we see a rematch and Anne comes back.
That kick switch had me goin "OOOOHHH" 😂😂😂 amazing animation, so snappy, so clean 👌
At 1:11 I was just like "NO WAIT SHE'S ALREADY OUT! SHE'S ALREADY OUT, DON'T!"

@@einviousSeriously! Like I'm pretty sure she gave her head trauma😂
Where's the voice meme that Mojahed uses in his UFC videos when you need it?
[ *STOP THE FIGHT!* ]
Lady was on pure adrenaline lol
Don't pay attention to these "keyboard professionals" in the comments. It's not a given that blank will always win against blank. The art is good and there's good technique from the fighters in your videos. You can decide whoever wins, it's your art.
fax, people should listen to
luffyskywalker7549
@Gin-San101most of them would get humbled in a dojo
The sensible comment here, they want to give the impression that they are professionals in such a martial art and that they understand more when it is just an animation and nothing more.
@Gin-San101the keyboard warriors

I love how fluid and easy to see your animations are. I hope you continue uploading more. For my part, I will be here to see them and I will try to comment on each video from now on.
Grounded fighting coreography, no abuse of slow motion, smooth attacks that you can feel the impact. This is now one of my favorite combat animations, up there with the fights in the Street Fighter II animated movie.
Edit: don’t mind my bad terminology for the kick, it was some fancy feint, I dunno exactly what it was lol
HOLY SHIT SHE GOT QUESTION MARK KICKED! ABSOLUTELY DAZED GOD DAMN
The fact Anne was already out with that punch and you see her mouthpiece fly out but she went in with another kick is so brutal! Literally some of the best female combat I’ve ever seen!
It seems like this animator likes to make these fighters feel relentless, which is what I also love about them. Like Anne vs Raichi from the first fight. When she got knocked out, you see Anne take another swing, but missed because Raichi had already dropped
@@strawhatkev They’re so merciless. As soon as they see their opponent stumble they go on such a violent assault and shut them down faster than they expected
What the fuck you mean Question Mark Kick... It's Front Kick/Low Kick to Twist Kick/Reverse Roundhouse.
@@MrMadBlaize it looked something like it, my bad lmao
It's okay.
Absolutely fantastic choreography. The fakeout kick was chef's kiss.
That wasnt a question mark kick, its called a snake kick. Questionmark kick typically goes for the body round/front kick and changes into a head roundkick. But the snake kick starts as a round kick but ends in a front/crescent kick.
This needs to be pinned
In the case of a round kick into a snapping front kick, it's called a snake kick, in this case the arc is closest to a snake kick as far as I know, if the specific technique has its own name I would love to know, but it would likely be from an art like tae Kwon do
@@rookieluke3550 Ah that's interesting. We should really make a unified naming system for these. I'm referring to the kick in this video: th-cam.com/users/shortsAOhIMN9jdUI
It's not quite a crescent kick because rather than rotating the side of your foot into the strike, you rotate your hips so you can snap with your knee and strike with the top of the foot.
That one kick she made is definitely come from a karate tournament match.. it's a very effective trick kick
Man, just the imagination to choriograph a fight like this is astounding. You should be very proud of your work. You're a real artist! I am subscribed and looking forward to your future videos.
It got me by surprise when Anne got knocked out by Isami, she did almost flawlessly against Raichi. That question mark kick destroyed her 😭
Overall, these fights are amazing and I love how fast-paced the fighting is, really keeps you on your toes.
I know these videos take long to make and it's an amazing effort so bravo to you!
I like it how much work you put into the moves. They are great, fast and can still be seen. The sounds are fitting as well. All in all a good and close realistic fighting animation. 👍
That question mark kick is unpredictable. Not many people know this kick.
I know right. This kick could knock you out.
No diría que es una patada signo de interrogación,es mas una patada con forma de un 2 en karate le llamamos "uchi mawashi geri"
I think that was a crescent kick question mark kick goes to the outside
Sooo I'm back... After months watching this video and finally figured out whats this called. It's called the
"UCHI MAWASHI GERI"
I had to watch this whole thing frame by frame. It gets even better,.. it is absolutely flawless and to be able to see each reaction actually making sense.. incredible
Damn, this is extremely good animation!
That sound design is meaty holy balls
The animations jeez, and the freaking sound designnn
Crazy good fight🔥🔥
THE SOOOOOOOUND DESIIIIIIIGN!!! I"M SAYIN BRO!!!
this shit was absolute fire.
Your sense of choreography is unmatched my guy, great work as always.
Your fight choreography was fantastic and the animation was great
The ear ringing on the kick is such a subtle touch, I love it.
The mouthguard flying was a nice touch
Goddamn I had to take a bathroom break in the middle of workday to go check this out. Amazing work as always!
新作待ってたわ、ありがとう
Golly! Anne throws some hard punches! Isami got some amazing kicks as well! Good shit mate, can't wait for Anne's revenge!
Dude this is some impressive animating!! Every blow and hit is so Rad, I could almost fel the gush and force in it. 😅
freaking brilliant. have rewatched all your content multiple times, cant wait to see what you do next!
Watch the last video I uploaded
Isami has insane durability, those Anne punches sounded like thunder strikes
Karate vs Boxing eh? Both sides have their merit, but the boxer's guard was practically beaten down by those kicks. That Karate girl is clearly made of some tougher stuff to take a jab like that directly as well.
Man you create some of the best if not the best anime fight scenes ive ever seen. SOMEONE NEEDS TO HIRE YOU ASAP
Just that first exchange got me hooked, that 1-2 after that parry was awesome, Isami continuously checking with the leg kicks was also cool, that brutal left hook from Anne after weaving under that right straight at 0:48 *chefs kiss* , just can't get enough
미쳤다 미쳤어!!! 이렇게 까지 디테일한 액팅은 처음이야!
That crescent kick made me gasp as a karate practitioner pulling this in a fight is my wet dream
I find it cool how Anne switches from orthodox, south paw and even the philly Shell stance
Thanks
Thank you!
Very interesting that the boxer discipline was pretty adequate in checking leg kicks.
As a boxer who’s planning to join my HS wrestling team, I’m gonna practice checking kicks now
they fact that I can see every move that they make is very nice. Claps for this stunning animation.
Holy shit, this is brilliant. How did you do it?? Million times better than those we see in the movies
That kick is attempted 1st degree murder 💀
1:00 QUESTION MARK KICK SPOTTED 🦅🦅🦅🔥🔥
Sooo I'm back... After months watching this video and finally figured out whats this called. It's called the
"UCHI MAWASHI GERI"
love the animation a lot
btw you can add a little bit of muscles so they would actually look like martial artists
Your fights choreography skills are out of this world. Just wanted to comment on that, please continue doing what you are doing.
Fucking amazing dude. Im planning on doing Hajime No Ippo manga fights in blender someday and this is inspiring.
True
I've watched this a few times now, and it's just perfect. The contrasting fighting styles, the psychology, the direction, the choreography, the animation, the visual style, the sound effects. Just flawless stuff. If there was an anime or show with fight scenes like this I would watch the hell out of it.
I have never seen an outward question mark kick before. Didnt know it was even possible.
It's possible
Doesn't have the same strength and if it fails leaves you in a very awkward position, i guess that's why is not that common.
Its called a twist kick, a bit different to the regular question mark kick and not normally as powerful. Its very sneaky though
Se llama "uchi mawashi geri" es una patada que practican en karate
Its possible but it will mess up your leg if you dont have flexibility.
I love how there is no "higher skill wins" shown in this art, it's the realistic show of probability allowing any of your fighters to win with clean hits.
Seems like you took some of the criticism to heart and head the boxer deal with more low kicks this time. Great job.
Love the camera work in this
I love how cinematic it is
I don't care how real this is this animation is Dope asf🔥🔥🔥
LMAO isami knocked the sonic coins outta her ass 😭😭
this fight is probably one of the best fights ever. it is animated better than 80% of movies
this guy has talent bro animates fights better then fighting animes
This is the birth of something VERY special.
That's what choreography should be like in movies and anime. You should feel THE IMPACT through the screen.
Some games do that pretty well
Man someone give this person a leading job in the gaming/anime industry. We are in desperate need of fight scenes with more though and actual martial arts logic over reverse grip swords and flying kicks everywhere.
Hell yeah
My guy is saying this while watching a video where a boxer is checking kicks and in other videos manages to escape grapple holds from a a mma fighter…… the internet never cease to amaze me when it comes to contradicting themselves
@@eem2wavy133 Yeah because boxers can't learn how to defend thenselves against other martial arts.... 🤣
I mean, sure she focus almost 100% in boxing while in the offensive and that can imply that she shouldn't have much knowledge in other areas, but that's not a rule. The focused style just gives it more flavor, otherwise by your logic we should only see MMA fights all the time, because if you only use karate you shoud not be abble to know how to grapple etc...
@@gasgy if a boxer knows how to defend against leg takedowns they aren’t a boxer they are a mixed martial artist.
@@eem2wavy133 Yeah that makes sense. There you go, change the description to "Anne - MMA with focus on boxing". Now it makes more sense?
The outside roundhouse kick. NOBODY ever shows it and you show it here. My deepest respects as a Karateka. Osu!
A kick hits a hell lot harder than a punch! Also taking a boxers mobility away from frequent kicks to the boxer's legs is a real death sentence.
Next up Unknown name Muay thai girl vs isami. Can't wait to see that, the first part I watch (MMA vs Boxing) to this, hope he make it too.
amazing foot work
I saw the series garouden the way of the Lone wolf and this short clips is greater than the series
That feint kick (question mark kick) replayed 3 different times, showing that it took a fraction of a second to see that opening! What a battle
The fighting alone is incredible, but what has gone into the facial animations as well is out of this world
