Enjoy those crossings while you can. I think Metrolink is going to upgrade them to be quiet zones when the 30 minute service starts sometime next year.
All I've been able to get is that they're going to be making upgrades to the crossings, the "quiet zone" was an assumption on my part. I'll double check.
Well, I can imagine that the horns will become annoying when they start averaging a train every 10 minutes on the line. I'll have to look at the report again.
What are these "defect detectors" and why are they at certain railroad crossings? This video is the first time I've ever seen or heard one of those. Could someone explain in detail what they are and what they're used for?
detector sounds kinda hot wonder if she's got a BF or GF LOL hell they could make every city a quiet zone if they wanted its not metrolink its the people that live near the tracks that are all pissy about the horns being blown then when somebody gets hit they blame it on metrolink for not blowing the horn they'll sue for 5 million dollars and hire some ambulance chasing lawyer too make a quick buck

Nice shots! Great horn action!
Red Hill is on the list for upgrades. I just don't know exactly what they plan to do there.
