You were kept here as a simple mistake and we don't know how we didn't notice." I was positively perplexed. What in the world was going on here? And more importantly, when would it end? To my relief, the guiding light said, "You will be freed though. By me. Remember, this is just our secret. Nice knowing you, friend..." I woke up in my bed with a jolt, feeling disoriented and confused. I couldn't believe what had just happened. I had died, or at least I thought I had, and now I was back in my own bed, alive and well. It was all so confusing and I couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. I sat up and tried to make sense of everything. The guiding light had told me that I had been brought to the hotel by some mysterious people, and that I was there by mistake. I still couldn't wrap my head around it all. Who were these people and what did they want with me? And what was the point of all the monsters in the hotel? I don't have Prooves to support this theory, but I'd like to think that GL is not helping you because they want to, instead they are doing it because it's their role in the hotel (like an actual hotel guide) and they don't have another option than just show the main character the way to go straight into the hotel.
I actually support this theory. I mean, if he was evil and was helping you the entities would’ve attacked you, thinking that you’re evil. I think Guiding Light betrayed the entities so they would attack you because he’s helping you.
