I was at this game, the one and only time I got to see Brett Favre in person. It was at least 50% Minnesota fans in there and by the 4th qtr we had taken over the place. There was a Rams exec guy at the door who said "I'm seeing way too much purple here" as we were entering Edward Jones Dome. We went to 5-0 and what a fun ride 2009 was, too bad for the shitty ending. Skol!
Stop complaining. The rams won one game that year and were by far the worst team in the league. At least you had a fantastic start to your team's season.
God we were so good. Brett Favre, Percy Harvin, Sydney Rice, Kevin Williams, AP, Jared Allen. Hard to get much better than that. And our offensive line was actually good with Sullivan, Loadholt, Hutchinson, and McKinnie. I was just a kid so this was my first Vikings team. Still remember watching that NFC Championship and practically myself to sleep that night. SKOL brother!
That was such a fun season! That team deserved a Super Bowl. 98 Falcons game was hard to take because we were the team to beat, but the Falcons outplayed us. We dominated the Saints. 7 turnovers, some horrible coaching decisions, some very very questionable calls by the officials and the bounty on Favre, cheap shots all day long. And still we were in position to win. That one still hurts
Man I loved that team. Complete on both sides of the ball. If only that bounty thing didn't happen. I really feel like they could have beat the Colts in the Superbowl as well.
1975 "hail Mary. 1987-88 4th and goal. 1998-99 40 of 40 FGs, and then... 2000 Giants 41-0. 2009 Favre stupid throwback pick, plus FIVE turnovers. 2014 the Blair Walsh Project - Shank-a-saurus. 2017-18 drubbed by the Eagles. 2022-23 4th and 8 checkdown. The Vikings have had a lot of "magical season until that thing" seasons, haven't they? 🤥
Aw man the glory days. Now our vikes team has absolutely no one on D line lol, never thought I’d see the day a Vikings team has the worst D line in the nfl
Sidney Rice was the #1 receiver for the Vikings this year, and it’s it’s the only year he caught more than 50 passes or gained more than 750 yards. If the Vikings had had JJ, Adam Thielen, or Stefan Diggs that year, they would have been unstoppable, and it’s a credit to Favre that he was able to carry the Vikings as far as they went with that dumpster fire of a WR room.
As much as I hated Favre as a Packer, he could make some throws that only a few could make. Wish they could have kept that lineup together. Sydney Rice looked like a HOF player that year.
I'll be making a highlight video of a past Lions game that I hope to release before thanksgiving. If you have a Detroit/Minnesota game in particular you remember fondly, leave a reply and I'll consider it!
38-10 looks like a blow out (and it was) BUT boy did the Rams shoot themselves in the foot every time they got in the RED ZONE. Take away our defensive TD and take away their 3 turnovers inside our 10 yard line and this could have easily been a 31-31 going into over time type of game.
I actually think this was the best team we've had since I've been a fan. ( Since 87 ) I give them the nod over that 98 team because they had much better defense. Although he was no Moss, they had their deep threat as well in Sidney Rice. Then Adrian Peterson is better than Robert Smith. + I'd take Bret Farve over Cunningham.
Well, nfc is a 2 team race also seattle and atl are mirages against phi and no which will cancel them out seattle will play the rams wboever wins will lose to saints eagles will cancel out minnesotta then u get no phi pick no and new england witb the global agenda over the steelers although a steelers saints sb would be cool brees will still get a 2nd ring then retire thats the storyline this year im also suspicious of bills coach not tanking for better success and having atleast a 2 year run playing with house money making it easy for chargers to get ready for a thanksgiving game on a short week

@@dumerkoff I personally think that this Rams team was the worst NFL team of all time and I am a Rams fan
Rams were terrible that year.

Another Vikings team that should have won the Super Bowl.
1998 and 2009.
2017
@@skolnutz nah we blew that shit ourselves
What was great about the Vikings there were very entertaining to watch regardless who you were rooting for
@@Electrifyer809 could be different this year tho, but the team this year is a rollercoaster
The ref picked up a block on that interception return haha
Losing 31-3 in the 4th, and you got the nerve to celebrate a TD like that? lol
Probably why the Vikings scored the td under 2min lol I missed those Vikings days just poor it on
Belichick would have that guy on a bus for Cleveland immediately if he was the coach
Such a fun year to be a Vikings fan!
The 2009 Rams: They were truly one of the football teams of all time
My god, I loved the 2009 Vikes. So fun to watch, until that one thing.....
Yep, that ONE friggin' cursed thing... 😡🏈

I absolutely love how you edit. Every Vikings fan should be subscribed to you.
This was the first time the Rams wore these uniforms since they won the Super Bowl 10 years previously.
I really miss these unis
It's your nostalgia talking. Our current treads are far superior.
Worst Vikings jersey in their history
@@AD-ur1fk I made this comment 4 years ago bruh idgaf about your shitty take
I like how the rams player caught a TD and did ad dance when they were down by 21 pets in the fourth quarter.
Pat Shurmur was the offensive coordinator for the Vikings at one point back in 2016.
Aw man the glory days. Now our vikes team has absolutely no one on D line lol, never thought I’d see the day a Vikings team has the worst D line in the nfl
funkdunkleman your AWESOME loving the videos LIKED and Subscribed keep up the Vikings videos
Dam so that’s what it’s like to have a good offensive line lol also, Percy harvin was fucking electric man. Such a huge talent
I just love your channel!
3:25 James Laurinaitis, the son of wwe wrestler Animal from the Road Warriors/Legion Of Doom.
Packers fan here just gotta say I love watching Adrian Peterson run that ball man

Damn AP in his prime..
3:25 oh Brett, his dreaded throw across his body. Never knew why the hell he continued to do that. Essentially cost the vikes a sb berth
I could hear "Superstar" by Lupe Fiasco playing in the beginning of the video...I miss those days.
That's the way you upend the Greatest Show On Turf
The greatest show on turf was five years gone by this point.
Lmfao that's not the Greatest Show on Turf
Do the radio calls of this game between Vikings-Rams in St. Louis from 2009.
If the Rams didn’t fumble so much, this would’ve been a shootout instead of a blowout.
As much as I hated Favre as a Packer, he could make some throws that only a few could make. Wish they could have kept that lineup together. Sydney Rice looked like a HOF player that year.

Do the 2004 game where the Vikings won 28-27, I think that game was in Detroit.
2009 home if you don't already have it up
2015 at Detroit was a fun one
Something from the 90's is my vote.

Those vikings uniforms were ugly. I'm glad they went back to a more classic clean look.
Sidney and harven the diggs and thelien of there time
Rams are down 31-9 in the fourth quarter with 6 + minutes left and Rams player is dancing like he just scored go ahead TD.
