listening to this ep after having just finished listening to the Skeletons EP really puts into prespective how much you've changed over the years as an artist. While the Skeletons EP is about the pains that come with love, the Angels EP is about falling in love and the passion and joy in that action. I think its beautiful how you've managed to catch both aspects of love in your music, and I'm so glad to have four your music.
the use of repeated phrases (like "for the first time")/musical elements/etc throughout different songs, calling back to each other, is so meaningful and haunting :')
My future plans for asking my gf for marriage are taking her on a cruise to Alaska, then pre-setting up a spot under the stars on a grassy one tree hill and carving out names on it. Then playing this whole song and holding her, slow dancing. At the end, a kiss. And I get down and take her hands and give her the ring.
