Amaechi has actually spoken well as a minister in the government and apart from that he said why is it that the issue of recourse control and restructuring was not solved or looked into when Olusegun Obasanjo and Jonathan Goodluck were in power? And he also said that why is it that when the northerners are in power that’s when the southerners will be agitating for recourse control and restructuring. I think that’s a big question we need to answer.

It is not true that it is only when northerners are in government that the country agitates for restructuring. There was a national conference during Jonathan's tenure and that was a major resolution and the only one that could not be agreed because northern representatives kicked against it was the issue of resource control.
It is also disappointing that recently purchased and overpriced locomotive engines should be breaking down. Is there no warranty? No after sales service?
    Opinion:
Amaechi could have answered the questions without resulting to such cheap blackmail. Totally unnecessary.
The way Nigeria has been built prevents a badly needed overhaul of the system. Even if the country was restructured today, there is no guarantee such restructuring would last. Some greedy people will reverse it as has happened in the past.
The different nations need to go their separate ways first, relying on the general African structure /unity to negotiate trade deals etc, and after each nation has stabilised decide whether they wish to come together again under a totally newly renegotiated structure.

Most people castigating this man are doing so because they do not understand him. This is his personality anytime anywhere & not display of arrogance. Also he is being sincere with his answers to the questions and at same time being economical with some answers that could indict him. For example, his response to the question on zoning the presidency and his interest in becoming a president will definitely be misinterpreted and will trigger mixed reactions especially from the social media. Moreover his responses are narrowed basically on his line of duty as minister of transportation. Others politicians will put up smiling face and say the things we actually want to hear and gain public accolade meanwhile they're all lies.

The transport minister is unable to keep his vendetta with Wike out of his utterances. When he asked why Restructuring is a hot topic only when a Northerner is in power, perhaps the journalist Seun should have reminded him other Presidents at least tried to have Federal character represented in their appointments. The clear nepotism of this President is a core factor behind the intensified agitations. Seun ought also to remind the minister the North has ruled for far longer than the South. And what rule says you can't bring to the burner an issue if the man on the seat is from a different region as you?

APC went into power to change and fix problems in Nigeria.
He has not reduced poverty for 6 yrs
It will be a good record for APC if Buhari can fix problems.
You have said you cannot fix security.

Wike said he will never put on a red cap to go for presidency if it's given to the south east. Here he comes dressed with a red cap. Amaechi stop putting your state in trouble

Whenever I see Amechi with Isiagu and a red hat I know that he has one of his evil plans afoot. He never dresses this way only to address something bad. When he is happily addressing all his projects in the North, you never see Amechi Wear Isiagu and red cap but now addressing the failure of the rail line locomotive and here he is looking like an Igbo man on national television. Horrible representation and imagery. When you have something bad to report dress like an Igbo man but when bad deny and run from Ndigbo like cat out of hell.
