I loved all the references and showing how much Dedede hates Kirby. They might be friends now, but I think his resentment towards Kirby is still there.
In Planet Robobot, Susie said that the DNA they used to create copies of Dedede have a certain grudge against Kirby.
It means that despite Dedede making amends, he still has a little grudge against Kirby, and maybe that this is the part of him that allow people to control him, by making his hate against Kirby a driving force once more.

It was a mistranslation. The original talked of a competitive spirit towards Kirby, a more friendly manner. The grudge was settled in Super Star Ultra.

He may be friends with Kirby now, but you can't always control your deep feelings, so I think it's more interesting to think that he still has a slight grudge deep inside of himself, even though he cares about Kirby now.
The clones were actually missing his soul, so that’s why they hated Kirby.
It's been a year since the last Dedede video (Which I'm still waiting for Nightmare with Lyrics). It feels good to see the great and powerful King Dedede, the pink sky baby Kirby and the others back in action again! This video may have been short, but it was fierce and action-packed to the core, leaving me for more (Why did that rhyme..?). Looking forward to more stuff like this by you, champ!
P.S. It's nice to see Jon be the main artist for a RecD video after so long, aside from Legendary Beatdown. And the ending really got me, it was just "Once upon a time, Kirby existed. Now he doesn't."

This is so GOOD. The humor here draws me back to the good old times of Brawl in the family, as it's silly but super well in character. Aside from that, the pace and feel of these lyrics is impressive, very specially with the Forgo Dedede part

I really, REALLY love how Kirby games can, just, *seamlessly* blend cutesy with gritty ASF. And apparently, you can blend that with amazing singing skills. This is honestly one of the most fire DDD tracks so far! Absolutely incredible.
That’s why I say Kirby games are only for kids until about…halfway through.
My favorite examples for this are Hyness phase two and Fecto Forgo (Not Elfilis, that’s more cool than creepy)

That intro made king Dedede look like some kind of oppressive ruler from World of Warcraft or something. After all, those animal things turned him into something like that. in the kirby game, but you showed that at its peak. That's why I love the intro.
